Before the release date of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, Blizzard is tinkering with the pre-patch on the PTR. One of the issues players have run into is that they could not solo the content on the PTR. However, game director Ion Hazzikostas assured fans that once the patch is completed, such legion content can be completed separately.
Once the previous patch for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is up and works as expected, you should be able to do the same thing solo in Battle for Azeroth at level 50 and 120.
The Blizzard team is working hard, but, because the previous patch removes the corruption system of World of Warcraft, and adds a level and item squish that will bring you down to 50 from 120, so there are many factors to consider. As WOWhead pointed out, the current content of the Legion is causing the most concern.
Someone posted two videos of the same boss battle on Blizzard's forum, showing the difference between live game and PTR. In the previous game video, the player won in two minutes, and in the latter video, the player lost in 30 seconds.
Although players will become weaker, there must be more new content to experience. In short, the Shadowlands of World of Warcraft is worth looking forward to.
