Mist Runeword is one of Ladder's unique Runewords brought by Patch2.4 in Diablo 2 Resurrected. As a weapon Runeword, it applies to a wide range of weapon types. It supports Missile Weapons, including all Bows, Crossbows and Amazon Bows. It has five sockets, and the Rune combination is Cham+Shael+Gul+Thul+Ith.
Depending on traits like its level 8-12 Concentration Aura and +3 To All Skills, Bowazons are clearly the best build to choose with Mist Runeword. While this works, the buffs don't raise it to the preferred height, but it's still not bad to make it if you have a Cham included in the D2R Ladder Items. Moreover, if your build is Javazon or Throw Barbarian, the 100% Piercing Attack is also worth using.
Weapons that work best with Mist are Elite Amazon Bows, including Matriarchal Bow and Grand Matron Bow. Because after Patch 2.4, Amazon's Bow added unique bonus damage.
Making the Mist Runeword requires players to cobble together Cham, Shael, Gul, Thul and Ith. The following is recommended farming spots:
Cham-Hell Secret Cows, Act 4 Hell and above, the minimum difficulty is Hell.
Shael-Normal Nightmare+ Countess, Normal Hellforge and Secret Cows, Act 5 Normal and above, the minimum difficulty is Normal.
Gul-Hell Countess and Hellforge, Nightmare Secret Cows: Act 5 Nightmare and above, the minimum difficulty is Nightmare.
Ith-Normal+ Countess, Hellforge and Secret Cows, Act 3 Normal and above, the minimum difficulty is Normal.
