Midwinter Proofs are your primary currency for earning rewards and in-game cosmetics in Diablo 4 Midwinter Blight Event.

In this guide, I’ll tell you how to farm Midwinter Proofs quickly, how to increase Midwinter Tribute Points, and the best materials to farm and convert to Midwinter Proofs!

How To Farm Midwinter Proofs?

First, let’s talk about a few ways to farm Midwinter Proofs.

Attend Blighted Revelry Event

Blighted Revelry Event is a World Event you can find in areas affected by Midwinter Blight. Much like other zone events, Blighted Revelry Event zone will have an orange outlier to show where the event can be resolved.

During the event, there will be some Midwinter Blight-themed monsters that will drop Blighted Fragments. This is also one of the basic materials you need to farm Midwinter Proofs.

In addition to hordes of Midwinter Blight-themed enemies, you can also find and defeat Red-Cloaked Terror, whose trophy we can redeem from Gileon for 1 Midwinter Proof!

Defeat Midwinter Demons

Thanks to Midwinter Blight, there will be a lot of Midwinter-themed enemies appearing in the snow in Kyovashad.

Similar to Helltide, killing Midwinter-themed enemies will cause them to drop Blighted Fragments. A single enemy will drop about 5-7 Blighted Fragments, and you need to exchange 300 Blighted Fragments to get 1 Midwinter Proof.

Although the quantity may seem large, this is the best item to convert to Midwinter Proof, since there are so many Blighted demons in this event.

Destroy Frigid Husk

Frigid Husk is a destructible object found in Kyovashad winter region during Midwinter Blight Event. They pose no threat, and destroying them will yield approximately 1-4 Lost Heirlooms.

You can redeem 30 Lost Heirlooms to get 1 Midwinter Proof. So be sure to destroy Frigid Husk when you find them!

Defeat Red-Cloaked Terror

Red-Cloaked Terror is the boss you encounter when clearing Blighted Revelry Event. This is a new world map event that you can do in areas affected by Midwinter Blight. After completing the event, Red-Cloaked Terror will appear as a boss. Defeat it to get Red-Cloaked Trophy!

You can exchange 1 Red-Cloaked Trophy for 1 Midwinter Proof. If you want to get as many rewards as possible during Midwinter Blight Event, this will be one of the best items to get.

How To Convert Material To Midwinter Proof?

Once you have accumulated enough Midwinter materials, return to Midwinter Square. Next to Gileon, there is a crafting bench that you can use to convert all the materials you just farmed into Midwinter Proof.

By converting these materials to Proof, you will increase your Tribute Tier in Midwinter. It also changes visually and rewards you with more Diablo 4 Gold, Armor, Fragments, and more.

Midwinter Tribute Points

Midwinter Tribute Points are the progress of Midwinter Blight Event. Earning enough Tribute Points will increase Tribute Tier, allowing players to claim rewards after completing events. Of course, the more Tribute Points you earn, the higher your level becomes, earning you some different rewards.

The best way to increase Tribute Tier in Midwinter Blight Event is by farming materials to gain Midwinter Proof.

Since this event lasts for three weeks, you should have enough time to unlock all six rewards. But it does sound like it’s going to take a lot of work to turn all those resources into a handful of Midwinter Proofs. You can also use your Proof in Gileon’s event shop to earn tons of unique Midwinter Blight rewards.

So treat this like any other event like Helltides or Blood Harvests and kill any enemies you see. 

You might even find it easier to earn these Tribute Points when you get together with a friend or two. My guess is that you’ll get Blighted Fragments the most, so focus on getting enough!
