Finally Blizzard revealed in a new livestream that Diablo 4 Season 1 will be officially released on July 20th, just one and a half months before Diablo 4's release. Season Of The Malignant
The new season is called "Season Of The Malignant", and this season will bring you a brand new questline, including "new faces, new enemies, new powers, the first season journey and the first battle pass." It will take place after the events of the main campaign, and Season 1 also introduces a new character named Cormand, it is a former priest of the Cathedral of Light, whose purpose is to try and stop the spread of the vicious virus.
Season of the Malignant has primarily appeared throughout Sanctuary in the form of Malignant monsters, a "dangerous new threat" for players. In the game, any elite monster can spawn as a Malignant Monster with extra strength, and players can defeat it by catching an evil monster and capturing its Malignant Hearts, which can then be inserted into rings and amulets, and you can also get Corresponding to Diablo 4 Gold, these contents really make players feel refreshed.

Before the season date was announced, it was reported that each season would require players to create new characters, which was confirmed during the stream. The new "Season Journey" will be divided into seven chapters, each with multiple missions, completing them to earn rewards such as Favor, which can be used to open rewards in the Diablo 4 Battle Pass. According to Blizzard, Battle Pass includes a free tier and everyone gets seasonal boosts to speed up their progress. Exclusive cosmetics are also included if you are on a paid plan.
Blizzard has previously confirmed that Diablo 4 will continue to evolve and expand "over the next few years", and this includes two confirmed expansions and a robust roadmap. Second, Season of the Malignant patch will also be released on July 18th, and from then on, Eternal Realm will introduce new items and new changes.
