Today I am going to talk about Barrage Rogue in particular. You might have seen in the recent patch notes for version 1.0.3, that they actually buff Barrage, and I'm playing Barrage Death Trap which is. 

Probably one of the fastest leveling builds in the game actually, it was really nice I had a good time with this build, a lot of people also seem to enjoy it, but there is one problem with this. 

Problems And My Attempts

That is that for some reason Barrage is bucked, and as you can see here when you finish Nightmare Dungeon, you do not get the glove upgrade quite often. But it will not affect the Diablo 4 Gold you get.

So I had this problem a lot I just finished the boss or I finished the last objective and nothing happens, and I had a lot of theories about how to solve this from people in chat, and they tried various things, like waiting long enough or running around in a circle and these kind of things, which is like cleaning up on Monsters, but I have found all of this to not really help. 

So what is happening is that when you defeat the boss with Barrage, you just don't get the glyph upgrade. I don't know, maybe a third or half of the time or so. So while it is a very good build, and we can definitely recommend Barrage, either with corn points like the one we have on Max roll, or the devtropolis that I've played, both of them are superb builds. 

But they have this issue that if you are not farming enough Nightmare Dungeons, you will just lose out on Cliff upgrades, and you will not Escape lifts to level 21 by the time you reach the 100. Especially now that you buffed the experience that again in Nightmare Dungeons, so you actually reached the 100 much faster. 

Some Examples Where The Problem Occurs

You see here yet a example so there are certain dungeons where this happens more frequently than others, and there are certain dungeons where it just never seems to back out. So what I found for example is that in dungeons where Glyphstone spawns immediately when you finish the objective, it tends to bug out a lot more often, and then there are dungeons where Glyphstone appears after like a 10 second delay or so. 

One of these examples is Crusaders' Cathedral, so this is one of those dungeons where everyone with any build always has to wait like around 10 seconds for this Glyphstone to appear, there are other things like that, and luckily in those dungeons Glyphstone does not bug out. 

So as you can see here usually a little bit and then pops, so for some reason this Manchester is better or something and I never had any issues with those. 

Another example is earth and moon, you have to delay each time, and I've never encountered a bug here either. So it comes down to which duns you're running, but those dungeons doesn't have this delay are they are Crusaders' Cathedral or often wound, and looking at the list here, there's also blind burrows that always works as far as I can tell. So it also has this weird layer, and it doesn't bug out. 

But as far as I know this is about it maybe there's like one or two more, but it's just something to keep in mind, that if you want to play Barrage, if you're a Barrage, enjoy them while it is a very very good build, and better use variations even.

My Purpose

So I just wanted to get this out here, because initially every day I have like hundreds of people asking me, because they play Barrage or something like that, and they wonder like why do not get Glyphs well that's the reason. I've packed reported this a while ago already so I assume it's going to get fixed soon, it's just something really weird happening. 

Some Other Ways

I heard that some people had some success with not trying to kill the boss with Barrage and get some Diablo 4 Items. So for example I also try this for example swapping to like a one point rapid fire and just killing the boss of Rapid Fire instead. I didn't really have much success with us, but I heard from other people that if you just like swap it out and mostly killer balls with something else. It kind of worked, but it was also kind of clunky.
