Vampiric Powers

Before we dive into the build, let’s briefly discuss some of Vampiric Powers that play a key role in this build.

First up is Coven’s Fangs, which buffs your Conjuration, Companion, Minion, and Bat Familiar attacks and deals 52% extra damage to crowd control enemies. It also provides a 30% chance to inflict Vampiric Curse, laying the foundation for our DOT damage.

Prey on the Weak will cause 16% increased damage to vulnerable enemies. Because Vulnerable status is now cumulative, we don’t need Frost Nova to apply it.

Feed the Coven has a 44% chance of inflicting a vampiric curse that will also spread to nearby enemies. This introduces additional damage potential through Vampire Curse. It also gives your Conjuration, Companion, Minion, and Bat Familiar attacks a 60% chance to restore 10 primary resources, and increases our damage output by 10% for 4 seconds.

Over time, Flowing Veins deal 60% increased damage to moving enemies or enemies affected by Vampire Curse. This significantly increases our DOT damage output.

If resource generation isn’t an issue for you, Anticipation is also a great option. It provides cooldown reduction and damage bonuses based on the number of enemies affected by DOT effect.

Core Aspects

Aspects are crucial in this build, pay close attention to these elements as they contribute to the success of the build.

Battle Caster’s Aspect

A new source-specific aspect, Battle Caster’s Aspect enhances your Conjuration skill. This is crucial for increasing your skill level.

Aspect of Engulfing Flames

Aspect of Engulfing Flames significantly increases burning damage. When an enemy is below 50% health or affected by a DOT effect, they take up to 150% additional burning damage.

Aspect of Binding Embers

Aspect of Binding Embers allows the use of select Diablo 4 items to help you move through enemies unimpeded and remain immobile.

Aspect of Disobedience

Aspect of Disobedience reduces the damage you take from Crowd Control or Vulnerable enemies.

Charged Aspect

Charged Aspect can enhance your movement ability. You can increase their movement speed for a short time after collecting Crackling Energy to gain greater mobility.

Skills Explained

Next, let’s break down the skills that make this build work seamlessly.

First off, Chain Lightning is the core ability of this build and is the major source of AOE and single target damage. Flame Shield enhances mobility and Crowd Control, making you completely immune to all damage and effects for a short period. We can always cast it even while Crowd Control or performing other actions.

Teleport is the defensive lightning spell for this build, maximizing mobility and reducing damage. We can also use it under Crowd Control effect to break the effect.

Hydra is your major source of damage. It can summon three-headed Hydra for 12 seconds. Each head breathes fire at nearby enemies, dealing fire damage. The igniting roar of Inferno can move in and out of the target area, burning enemies and causing fire damage over 8 seconds.

Finally, by throwing Fire Bolt, you also deal additional fire damage and burn nearby enemies for 8 seconds. I suggest you invest more Diablo 4 Gold in improving Fire Bolt and Inferno’s burning damage skills, and prioritize DOT Enhancement and Crowd Control.

Paragon Board
