After the first season of Diablo 4 was released, many players couldn't wait to try it out, and we've just spotted two pretty impactful last-minute changes here.
Gameplay Updates
There's a new update in the patch notes, patch 1.1.0b brings us Malignant Heart and World Level requirement changes.
Change of Items: Malignant Heart will now always grant armor that directly mirrors its item power.
Change of World Tiers: Removed the level requirement for World Tiers III and IV.
You might have seen this, there was quite some outrage about this with, there was like a hidden level character introduced in Capstone Dungeons, and you had to be at least over 40 or level 60 to advance Nightmare or Tournament difficulty, and it didn't really make much sense.

My Opinion On These Changes
That has been removed, that's really good, and it also kind of brings back boosting again. So we thought that would be completely dead, it is still kind of bad I guess with the experience changes. But at the very least, you can advance to the higher difficult if you want, you can still get boosted and get higher level Diablo 4 Items if you want.
An even bigger change though is this one, Malignant Hearts now always grant armor that directly maps with the item power in Diablo 4. Now they don't really tell us how much, but a Royal Skull gives 250 armor and I expect that at least a high level heart will give. Maybe they have recognized that well armor is quite important in this game, and losing 750 armor, definitely changes things for a lot of builds, for a lot of classes, it's going to make everything feel much squishier and that was also kind of like a big concern for especially the more casual players, I guess.
Before starting Season of the Malignant in Diablo 4, you need to recreate a new character, which is something every player needs to do, even if you may not understand it. Of course, if you don't want to start from level 1, you can find some Diablo 4 Boosting Service to help you quickly level up.
Going into Season of the Malignant, you definitely feel the defensive nerfs along with the armor nerf from those hearts. Some people were even wondering, is it worth to replace the armor gems with those hearts in Diablo 4? It certainly sounds like it is. So if it gives anywhere close to the same hour as before then this is basically a straight power upgrade, and this means that probably with those nerfs that we got from the patch notes, we are generally still gonna be more powerful than before, because some of those hearts are pretty powerful.
In any case without knowing the numbers I expected this is a pretty huge change, and will make things a lot better than we previously thought, so just something to look forward to. That's it already the season starting any moment basically, so I wish you good luck in the season, have fun!
