An Elden Ring player showcases some neat ideas to use using the Ash of War: Sky Shot. Elden Ring's combat has a wide variety of playstyles, allowing players to combine and match to higher fit whatever works well with them. Already there have been multiple players in a position to beat a number of Elden Ring's hardest bosses while only at Rune level 1, a number of which use a special item hanging around known as Ashes of War. While specific ashes of war have certainly helped make fights easier, some aren't seen as often. One of these may be the Ash of War: Sky Shot.

Elden Ring Player Shows Off Neat Tricks With Ash of War: Sky Shot

Ashes of War are unique items that give players abilities to make use of specific weapons. While players have certainly been in a position to get through a lot of Elden Ring's fights, for many, it might be more viable to trust a special ability that may turn the tide of the boss fight, like when one player was in a position to beat Elden Ring's Godfrey while using Ash of War: Lightning Slash. With Ashes of War, players with specific builds might have an easier time adjusting to situations that their build might not lend itself easily to.

One Elden Ring player found some interesting new ways to use the Ash of War: Sky Shot. Posting to r/Eldenring, user Sanitarium118 uploaded a brief clip showcasing the different ways a person can utilize Sky Shot. In the video, they first mention that Sky Shot isn't quick-firing, becoming an Ash of War that can take a while to hit the target after being activated. However, they reveal that the ball player can layer the Sky Shot along with other attacks just like a normal arrow shot, leading it as the Sky Shot will hit first and stagger the enemy.

The video also shows the player can perform jump shots, rolling shots, and much more while the sky shot continues to be hurtling toward the enemy. In the end, though, they are doing acknowledge this won't work too with moving enemies, meaning it is best used as a skill for immobile ones. Perhaps this is an excellent Ash of War to make use of for any more stealth-focused Elden Ring players who wish to kill a number with a flurry of arrow attacks.

Elden Ring is really a game that allows players to test new things, maybe it's a new weapon or perhaps an Ash of War. Players opting for different, interesting builds help expand upon the already wide-reaching capabilities of the game's combat system, like one Elden Ring player who took on the Fire Giant having a Squidward build. Elden Ring provides the freedom to understand more about it, and players should go up more regularly to find new methods to play.

Elden Ring can be obtained on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
