Jul 04, 2023

Source: MMOWTS

Elder Scrolls Online is a massively popular game, and if you want to quickly traverse its vast landscape, your best bet is to summon a Mount. Mounts come in all shapes and sizes in the game, but they all have one purpose - to get you from point A to point B as quickly as possible. There are some nuances in using Mount in ESO, but you can feel the joy that different Mounts bring to you.

How To Get A Mount In ESO?

Before you can do anything else, you need to add Mount to your roster. You can get Mount in ESO in the following three ways:

Elder Scrolls Online How To Get

1. Buy One From A Stable

There are a variety of horses for players to choose from in cities across Tamriel. These can be purchased using in-game ESO Gold. Just find a stable (denoted by a horse icon on the map), talk to Stablemaster, and see what's for sale at Stable.

2. Buy A Mount From Crown Store

Crown Store is a premium real money marketplace in ESO. You can also find some of the most popular Mounts in the game here. However, while all of these creatures look more impressive than their Stablemaster counterparts, they don't offer any unique in-game perks. In other words, players who don't spend a dime are not at a disadvantage compared to players who spend hundreds of dollars on the game.

3. Reach Level 10

Once you reach the level 10 milestone, you'll be rewarded with a horse. For starters, this is probably the best way to add Mounts to your inventory, since you get the requirements.

How To Improve Mount Speed In ESO?

One of the most annoying things you'll encounter early on in Elder Scrolls Online is the slowness of your Mount sprint. It's too bad you're better off exploring Tamriel's many areas on foot.

ESO Mount Speed

Thankfully, there are ways to make your Mount go faster in ESO. Some methods require patience, while others require a lot of gold, including real money. Below are all possible ways to increase Mount speed in ESO.

As mentioned, there are various ways to increase the speed of Mount in ESO:

1. Take Riding Lessons

You can learn Riding Lessons from one of Tamriel's many Stable Masters. This is the cheapest and easiest way to increase the Mount speed to 60. Just walk up to Stable Masters and you'll have the option to increase the Mount's riding speed by 1 for a small amount of gold. The only downside to this method is that it has a time limit, so you have to come back every day to increase the speed by 1.

2. Buy Crown Lessons

You can also purchase Crown Lessons to quickly increase your Mount's riding speed. This method costs more gold, and you can spend 1,000 crowns to increase the Mount's riding speed by 10 (up to a maximum of 60). For a ride speed of 60, you'll need 6,000 Crowns, which works out to roughly $60 or £60.

3. Invest In Attack Skill Lines

Assault Line offers a passive skill called "Continous Attack" that increases your Mount speed by 30%. To unlock Assault Line, head to Cyrodiil and rank up in Alliance War. Just by completing the tutorial quests in Cyrodiil, you'll earn enough Alliance Points to unlock "Continous Attack" passive skill.

4. Unlock Gifted Rider In Constellation

This may take some time, especially if you haven't reached level 50 and unlocked Constellation. Once unlocked, you can increase your Mount speed to 10% by investing in the Gifted Rider star in Craft Constellation.

The above two parts hope to help you how to get a Mount and improve its speed in the game.
