Witches Festival 2023 begins again! This event has XP boosts, event items, and ticket rewards, so let’s dive into all the details.

XP Boost

In previous years, the 100% XP boost was activated through the Witchmother’s Whistle collectible. However, now this is a passive buff everyone can activate all the time.

If you completed the campaign missions from previous years, you can find Whistle under Collection Tools. After you drink the water from Cauldron, it will summon a skeleton. But as mentioned before, this part no longer requires an experience boost.

Event Quest: Witchmother’s Bargain

But if this is your first time attending Witches Festival, you can collect Witchmother’s Whistle by completing the event mission “Witchmother’s Bargain.”

You can pick up this quest for free from Crown Store, or speak to Crow Caller, who can be found outside each Witchmother’s Breweries in Stonefalls, Auridon or Glenumbra.

The mission will require you to collect a few things: a Pumpkin, some Guts, and Essence of Death, which can be collected from any quest boss. This will give you Whistle, and once you have Whistle, you can take part in the event by collecting Plunder Skull.

To collect Plunder Skull, you need to defeat bosses throughout the game world. When they are defeated, you will collect Plunder Skull along with their usual loot. You can make a handsome ESO Gold profit by selling duplicate loot.

Plunder Skull Drops & Event Tickets

When you open Plunder Skull, you have a chance to get Alchemy Reagents, Event Themed Furniture, Event Themed Recipes, and Event Themed Treasure.

You also have a slight chance of getting one of the following: Hollowjack Style items, Dremora Style items, and fishing bait. In addition to Plunder Skull, you will also receive 2 Event Tickets for the first boss you defeat each day.

Dremora Plunder Skull Drops

The first time you defeat each different boss type each day, you will receive a special Dremora Plunder Skull containing Dremora Motif Chapter and a chance to receive one of the following items:

• Glenmoril Armor Outfit Style Pages
• Grave Dancer Weapon Style Page
• A Tome of Forbidden Appetites Memento Runebox
• A Witches Festival Ghost Netch pet fragment
• Style Page for Crowborne Hunter Outfit

Glenmoril Treasure Maps

Glenmoril Treasure Maps is a special treasure map that will reveal secret locations around Tamriel. There you can find Glenmoril Weapon Style Pages. Visit and interact with the location, and you can add it to your collection. Or if you already know about Style Pages, you can sell them to other players.

Witches Festival Writs

Witches Festival Writs are simple and fast holiday crafting tasks. Completing 13 tasks will reward Witch’s Infernal Hat, and completing 28 tasks will reward “Witch” title.

Bosses Type

There are 7 types of bosses in Witches Festival, and each Glenmoril Armor Outfit Style Pages will drop from a specific type of boss. Therefore, in order to complete the style, you must defeat each type of boss.

Plucking The Crow

There is also an additional daily event mission called Plucking The Crow. You can receive quests for a Witchmother inside any breweries or within each Impresario Tent. The goal of this mission is to collect 50 Cursed Feathers in order to open the portal and fight Crowborne Horror event boss. You can get Cursed Feathers by Plunder Skull or defeating Crow-like enemies.

After obtaining Feathers, you can return to Breweries and use Alchemy Table to craft Effigy, who will open a portal for the boss. By defeating Crowborne Horror boss alone or in a team, you’ll earn Crowborne Horror Dremora Plunder Skull, which has an infinitesimal chance of rewarding you with more unique items.

Witches Grab Bag Contents

If you’re missing items from previous years, you can purchase Witches Grab Bags from Impresario. She will also be selling the first Hoardhunter Ursauk Mounts fragment during this event!

Exorcised Coven Cottage Player Home

This event is also your only chance to get Exorcised Coven Cottage Player Home, a classic witchy home in Glenumbra Map. Complete “An Unsparing Harvest” holiday event achievement and spend 250,000 ESO Gold to add it to your collection.
