Genshin Impact's newest trailer showcases the gameplay for the upcoming four-star character Kaveh, weaving architectural elements into his Dendro kit.

A new Genshin Impact trailer has given players a glance at the four-star character Kaveh's gameplay, just a couple of days prior to the character placed release. With the HoYoverse RPG winding on the story from the Sumeru region, recent releases have looked to round out the region's lineup of characters. Version 3.5 saw adding the controversial five-star character Dehya while Alhaitham has been around since the previous Version 3.4 update. Now, Kaveh will end up being one of the last characters featured in Sumeru's story to look in the game.

While Kaveh didn't play a significant role in Genshin Impact's main story, he boasts significant connections to both characters and locations inside the game. Kaveh may be the roommate from the previously mentioned Alhaitham and it has often been seen bantering using the Akademiya's Scribe in the appearances. He also served because the lead architect behind the Sumeru region's Palace of Alcazarzaray, another playable character in Dori. Now, with lots of teasers about Kaveh already, fans are finally able to see the way the character will have.

The newest in Genshin Impact's Character Demo series, titled "Kaveh: Edifice of Sincerity," gives players the very first full take look at Kaveh's gameplay. The character's attack and ability animations pay lots of reference to his status being an architect, together with his Normal Attack animation mimicking a compass and gridwork animations on his Elemental Skill and Burst. Kaveh's abilities will appear to slot nicely into Bloom team compositions using the ability to instantly trigger Bloom cores like a valuable asset. Many fans have previously speculated from leaks that Kaveh is a valuable sub-DPS for Dendro teams with main DPS potential at higher Constellations. Kaveh will even look to play nicely alongside his banner's featured five-star Baizhu, a Dendro healer. Kaveh is placed to release around the limited gacha banner next Tuesday following a conclusion of Nahida and Nilou's banner, likely joining the permanent rotation in Version 3.7.

Kaveh's status as one of the last major Sumeru characters to become introduced may come as Genshin Impact's next major region is around the horizon. The upcoming Fontaine region has seen heavy speculation and leaks within recent weeks, suggesting the Hydro Archon's domain is going to be released come July 1st. Multiple NPCs and in-game events have previously teased facets of Fontaine like its technological advancements and also the region's concentration on "justice." Kaveh's flexible kit should turn out to be a useful addition to a variety of Dendro-focused teams.

Genshin Impact can be obtained now for PC, PS4, PS5, and cellular devices. A Switch version is in development.
