News Tag: Diablo 4 DLC

In order to give back to new and old players for their support and love for Diablo 4, the developer will regularly hold some game events and release good rewards. Mother’s Blessing is one of them.
It is understood that Mother’s Blessing has returned to Diablo 4, and this time it can not only increase your experience value by 35% but also give you a reward of 50% more gold.
If you are a loyal fan of the game, then you must have heard about this Diablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred expansion. It not only enriches the game content but also launches a new Spiritborn Class.
Since the launch of the expansion, many players have been exploring the new area of Nahantu, upgrading Spiritborn Class, and challenging the difficult multiplayer cooperative game event-Dark Citadel dungeon.
In addition to the already launched Vessel of Hatred, the developer will continue to develop new community events for all players, so that players can experience different game experiences.
Mother’s Blessing Event Time
The last event was held during Halloween, and players who completed the game’s tasks could get Recluse’s Host Mount, Mount Armor, and two mount trophies.
The latest event is Slay Ride to Hell, and you have the opportunity to get Resplendent Sparks, Undercity Tributes, and more in this event. The event time starts on December 7, 2024 and ends at 10 am on January 2, 2025.
It is worth noting that Mother’s Blessing bonuses are held at the same time, which means that if you participate in Slay Ride to Hell and complete the tasks, you will have the opportunity to get more Diablo 4 Gold.
Mother’s Blessing Rewards
According to the announcement confirmed by the developer, Mother’s Blessing has been launched in Diablo 4. Whether you are an old player or a new player, as long as you log in to the online game, you will have the opportunity to get more experience and Diablo 4 Gold rewards.
Moreover, it was revealed that while the experience bonus value of Mother’s Blessing is locked at 35%, the gold bonus value can be released with a multiplier calculation.
All the above bonus benefits are inseparable from Seasonal and Eternal Realms. It is reported that these two realms have recently started Slay Ride to Hell community event.
If you are very interested in Slay Ride to Hell event and are interested in participating, then there is good news for you. Mother’s Blessing is very beneficial for players who participate in the event.
Because the event requires players to capture holiday-themed Treasure Goblins, it is well known that Treasure Goblins will drop a small pile of gold to escape if they are discovered by players.
In addition, if you participate in this event, you will not only receive some gold and experience bonuses, but also global milestones. It can unlock game rewards, including Legendary items, cosmetics for you.
At the same time, Diablo 4 has also held multiple promotions, including items such as Xbox Countdown. Combined with the recently launched Mother’s Blessing and other activities, it is easier for new players to get more experience points and gold coins, so that you can exchange for more valuable items, making it easier for you to win in the game.
Not only that, you can also receive four weapon cosmetics during the event, which are free gifts from the official in-game Shop!
Given that Mother’s Blessing has been online for a while, the time left for you to participate is limited, and the developer will continue to update Diablo 4. Maybe you will see another Mother’s Blessing event in the future, but this event is not common and everything is unknown.
So you can’t miss this Mother’s Blessing, log in online and participate!

Vessel of Hatred game director Brent Gibson remains committed to the idea of adding more group play content to Diablo 4 and offers advice for single-player players. Diablo 4 has been building momentum with each season since its launch more than a year ago, and its first expansion, Vessel of Hatred, has received a positive response.
In addition to the new campaign and other content, Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred also adds Dark Citadel as an end-game event. In the exploration of Dark Citadel, players need to use Diablo 4 Gold in large quantities to repair equipment, obtain powerful potions, or unlock hidden secret passages.
This high demand for gold forces players to plan ahead and also increases the strategic nature of the game. In this end-game event, you will team up with others to overcome various challenges and defeat First Khazra to get rewards.
However, Dark Citadel adopted a PvE cooperative mode for the first time, basically completely excluding single players, which made many players frustrated that they could not experience the core content of the expansion. Based on recent comments from the game's developers, Dark Citadel will most likely not be the first nor the last experience of its kind.
Comments On Dark Citadel
Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred game director Brent Gibson recently admitted in an interview with Polygon that he's been pleased with the response Diablo 4's Dark Citadel has received from players. Gibson admitted that it's not for everyone, but for players who have experienced it, the feedback seems to be positive.
In addition, Gibson essentially doubled down on the idea of group-based content, saying that he'll be "sticking to his guns." Gibson went on to say that he hopes players will continue to look at Citadel to see what additional feedback it gets, and that he'll stick to his guns as always.
Diablo 4 Won't Give Up On Group Content
For single-player gamers looking to change things up, it looks like the developer isn't backing down from group activities. In fact, both Gibson and general manager Rod Fergusson agreed that they're pleased with the end-game content Diablo 4 has provided players with, and that the game continues to evolve and offer a diverse experience.
Essentially, Diablo 4 players have different activities to choose from, including Kurast Undercity, Pit, Infernal Horde, or Dark Citadel, as alternative paths in the same endgame loop.
At present, all eyes are turning to the upcoming Season 7, which is currently being tested on PTR server before it is officially launched. Although the exact release date has not yet been determined, the official has not been stingy in revealing new content, and even confirmed some upcoming features in recent Campfire Chats.
Specifically, Diablo 4 Season 7 will make some changes to the quality of life of players, such as no longer forcing players to repeat Class Quests, because these tasks are now bound to accounts rather than individual characters. Players can get rewards as long as they reach certain level requirements without having to do the same tasks again.
In future updates, perhaps we can also see more stories about the continuation of Dark Citadel, and this Citadel sleeping deep in Sanctuary will continue to attract countless adventurers to challenge and explore.

As an in-game item that has been around since Diablo 2, runes have always been popular in Diablo series. This is because they can be inserted into various weapons and equipment with slots to create Runewords, which provide them with further combat buffs.
Runewords is essentially a highly customizable trigger and effect enchantment that changes depending on the currently inserted Ritual and Invocation Rune. And in Diablo 4’s new DLC Vessel of Hatred, which was launched in October this year, runes are still an important prop that can help you no matter what class you play.
Based on this, we will introduce you to how to farm runes effectively in Vessel of Hatred.
1. Defeat DLC Campaign Bosses
First, when you reach Kurast Bazaar in Vessel of Hatred campaign and complete main quest Fundament of Faith, you will unlock the rune system and receive a large amount of Diablo 4 Gold and the first rune bounty. You can then officially start earning runes in this expansion.
In DLC’s campaign, you will encounter many story bosses, each of which is guaranteed to drop at least one rune when defeated, but you can only complete each campaign once on a fixed character. Fortunately, you can also trade runes between characters. So if you complete the campaign on an alt, you may get new runes to share between your characters.
2. Complete Kurast Undercity Activities
Kurast Undercity is a new feature in DLC that can be reused, and it gives you a lot of control over the rewards for successful runs. Kurast Undercity is timed, and if you beat the timer, you will get the rewards you want, which include runes.
Before Kurast Undercity officially runs, remember to use tributes, which will appear randomly during the run and throughout Sanctuary. Among all the tributes, there is a Tribute of Harmony, which guarantees that you will get 100% of the runes at the end of Kurast Undercity run, and increases the probability of high-level runes appearing.
3. Kill World Bosses And Participate In Hatred Rising Event
In DLC and Season 6, killing world bosses and hunting down Season 6 boss Realmwalkers can earn you some runes. The classic world bosses spawn once a week and provide corresponding rewards, but you can farm Realmwalkers repeatedly to get rune drops continuously.
Realmwalkers will continue to spawn in random areas throughout Sanctuary a few minutes after the last one is defeated. Initially, you cannot harm it and must follow it along a predetermined path through a fixed area. Waves of enemies and elites will spawn along the way, and you need to defeat them, and then you will be rewarded with a certain number of runes. You can also get runes from the final Seething Realm boss after completing each Realmwalker event.
4. Clear Strongholds For The First Time
When you clear a stronghold for the first time in Vessel of Hatred, your character will receive a huge XP boost and a bunch of items, including runes. This also makes the stronghold more valuable than you think.
Based on the season mechanism of Diablo 4 series of games, you can also let your character clear each Stronghold for the first time in Season 6, even if you have completed them with other characters in previous seasons. However, you cannot use the same character to clear the same stronghold repeatedly.
5. Open Whisper Caches
In Sanctuary, you will see icons representing Whisper, so you can get Grim Favors by completing these special objectives. When you have obtained 10 Grim Favors, you can go to Tree of Whispers in Hawezar to select the reward treasure cache. There are many caches of options available in Tree of Whispers, but no matter which cache you choose as your Whisper reward, it will include a rune.
Compared to other ways to get runes in Vessel of Hatred, Whisper caches are more RNG-based. Therefore, we recommend that you do not make completing Whispers a priority, but passively complete Whispers during Helltides and other world events.
6. Eliminate Elites
In addition to the above 5 ways to farm runes in DLC, there is another way to get runes that covers almost all content and activities in the game, which is to defeat elite enemies. No matter what event you play in Vessel of Hatred, there is a small chance that elite enemies will drop runes when they are defeated after unlocking the relevant system.
Although the chance is small, please be sure to keep an eye on the ground when participating in events with a lot of elites and remember to pick up the runes. If you keep killing elites in Nightmare dungeons, farming Pit, and try to play Dark Citadel, or Helltide events, you are more likely to find runes faster than farming in the open world. Because there are more elites for you to kill in these activities.
I believe you have discovered that the above 6 methods are not only applicable to farming runes in Vessel of Hatred, but some of them are also applicable to Season 6. I hope these contents can help you get enough runes to make your game character more powerful through enchantment. Thank you for reading.
