Unlock Isobel

Unlocking Isobel isn’t as simple as most missions, as you have three parts that can be completed in any order. But I’m ready for you.

Tournament Of The Heart

First, you need to start the exciting “Tournament Of The Heart” quest. This is the key to unlocking Isobel as a companion.

To begin this quest, go to Castle Navire Wayshrine and speak with Lord Remard DeFulley and Lady Henretta Aranthe.

After speaking with these nobles, follow the quest markers and speak to Isobel Veloise herself. She’ll explain the situation and say you need to complete some trials to win Glittering Sapphire Tourney. Don’t forget, preparing some ESO Gold before you start can make your exploration process go smoother.

Order Of The Iron Knot

Now, when you choose which trial to do first, be sure to select Order of the Iron Knot first. This will set you on a quest to retrieve the hilt of the legendary Redheart sword from Duforts.

Before finding the hilt of Redheart, head to the library where you can find information about the sword. After finding a book in the far corner of the library, talk to Isobel and she will tell you about Duforts to the east.

Once you reach the field, you’ll find another Aspirant also pursuing the sword, with Isobel’s former second-in-command beside him.

A fallen tree blocked the path into the woods, but Isobel knew a way around the obstacle. You need to follow the map to a forest and look for the marker pointing to the hilt of Redheart. Talk to Isobel later and determine your next move.

Oaken Order

At this point, it’s important to select Oaken Order, as this will appear again in the rest of the mission. To find the symbol of Oaken Order, you need to head to Coral Road Wayshrine and follow the map to find the mage’s cabin.

Once you reach the cabin, you’ll find a barrier with three pillars. Examining them, Isobel will deduce exactly how to dismantle the barrier from an old story mage told her as a child.

She will ask you to find Cat’s Paw Flower, Heron’s Feather, and Spriggan’s Veil. All these items are nearby, so follow the map to collect them all. Place them on the corresponding posts.

Once the barrier is down, enter Mage’s cabin and he will tell you to take his staff as a symbol of Oaken Order. After finding the staff, talk to Isobel.

Order Of The Albatross

Last but not least, we also need to get Order of the Albatross. To do this, you can meet Isobel at Castle Navire Chapel, found on the map.

To collect Gilded Lute Of Captain Brenvale, you first need to find the key to Castle Navire Catacombs. Follow your map until you find Aurelia, who will take you to meet Dame Hendra. Quickly bribe her to get the crypt key, then get inside.

There will be some enemies around here, but the path is mostly straightforward. Then you will find Aspirant Mortens here who is hiding from the spiders. He will give you the key to open another passage deeper into the crypt. However, you need to find his sword.

Continue along your map to reach the sword’s location. You’ll encounter some spiders along the way that you’ll need to kill, but they won’t pose much of a challenge.

Give the sword to Mortens and use the key to open another passage, which will take you to another part of the crypt. Kill the ghost haunting the area, then look for Lute behind it. Once you get Lute outside, talk to Isobel.

Get Token

When you’ve impressed all three Sapphire Orders and earned their tokens, it’s time for the finale.

Find Isobel presenting the token during the ceremony. After the ceremony, speak to Knight Commander Jourvel in her office to unlock Isobel as your companion.

Skills And Gear

In terms of skills, I like that Isobel is set up as an AoE damage dealer, with skills such as Holy Ground, Penetrating Strikes, Sunder, etc. For gear, I would prefer to wear Heavy on her chest and legs, and then wear Medium or Light on smaller pieces with Aggressive or Quickened Traits.

Here, we will share a complete guide on how to help you get Ember as your trustworthy companion in Elder Scrolls Online. If you also want to upgrade your companion, don’t forget to prepare some ESO Gold. Without further ado, let’s get started!

Complete This Tower Full Of Trouble

To begin your journey to unlock Ember, you need to complete the mission, Tower Full of Trouble.

Find Ladlow Menant

To do this, head to Tor Draioch Wayshrine and find Ladlow Menant. He has a mission mark above his head and is ready for action.

The conversation with Ladlow Menant is quick, but he will provide some valuable information for the upcoming mission. Near the end of the conversation, Menant will direct you to Ember, Khajiit Sorcerer, located north of Wayshrine.

Restore Cave Ward

Ember will explain that she needs help to restore Wards in the area. You can then follow the quest markers to restore Meadow Ward, Glade Ward, and Cave Ward in the nearby caves. You’ll encounter some weak enemies along the way, but nothing too challenging.

After restoring Cave Ward, talk to Ember again and she will share more information and ask you to head to the tower to investigate further.

Set Traps

Ember will then ask for your help to set up traps around the area. Follow the quest markers to find the backpacks with traps, place them at the designated location, and meet Ember at the shed.

Once you meet Ember, she will give you the magical Spoon of Undo, which can be used to turn four NPCs back into animals. Then, follow the quest markers to find Huldressa. Remember, appearances can be deceiving!

Get Mirrored Way

Now that the trap is set, Ember needs to obtain a specific book, Mirrored Way, from Arcane Library inside the tower. Go inside and pick up the book on the right side of the room.

Once you get it, talk to Ember. Ember will tell you that you need to go to the ritual circle southwest of the tower. Light Ritual Scones and defeat the mini-boss Windsorrow to complete Ember’s spell.

Kill Windsorrow

After defeating Windsorrow, return to the tower for one last meeting with Ember, and now you have your Companion!

By completing Tower Full of Trouble mission, you have unlocked Ember as your permanent companion in Elder Scrolls Online.

How To Upgrade Ember?

Now that we have Ember, it’s time to upgrade her!

Start by visiting your local armor store and buying at least three pieces of each type of armor. Armor Skill Lines can be unlocked once you equip Ember. You can then visit Weaponsmith and do the same thing to unlock Weapon Skill Lines. To unlock guild quests, you need to complete daily quests to level up each guild.

Now that the skills are unlocked, you can customize the gear Ember wears to match your play style.

For me, I prefer Ember to be a Damage Dealer and immobilize these NPC groups through AoE.

For her weapons, I prefer Lightning Staff and Bow, as Lightning Staff provides more AoE damage, while Bow is great for single target combat.

For her armor, I prefer large pieces since it has Aggressive Trait. As for smaller pieces, I like Medium Armor because it increases the damage of the armor’s passive. If you don’t have access to Aggressive Trait, you can also use Quickened as it reduces the time between skills.

Now that Ember is ready, it’s time to level her up! You need 7 pieces of Training gear and Experience Scroll. When you’re ready, head to your favorite grinding spot. As Ember levels up, her skills automatically unlock, so there’s no need to earn Skill Points!

ESO Anniversary Jubilee Event is one of the largest and most popular events. During the event, you can enjoy double XP boosts and earn new event-specific rewards.

This year, ESO celebrates its 10th anniversary. Anniversary Jubilee will be unlike any other holiday before. This year’s introductory quest will be changing. You can not only get boxes through daily tasks but also by re-clearing some Forgotten activities. They can bring you generous ESO Gold and some special rewards.

The activity is now available on the test server. We will explain and show everything in this ESO Anniversary Jubilee Event guide.

How To Start Anniversary Jubilee?

Let’s start with the introductory quest. You can get Ache for Cake quest for free from Crown Store.

After accepting the quest, you need to travel to one of the festival locations located in Stonefalls, Glenumbra and Auridon. Here we will meet the adopted son of Chef Donolon and complete the mission.

Jubilee Cake

As a reward, you will receive a Jubilee Cake. During the event, you will receive three Event Tickets when you eat a slice of Anniversary Jubilee Cake for the first time each day. Experience rewards are now passive during the event. But you won’t see this bonus in active effects. The developers say they will showcase it in the future.

How To Get Jubilee Boxes?

To get the event boxes, you need to complete all daily tasks. You can now also earn Jubilee boxes while playing the game through the following activities:

• Kill and loot any final dungeon boss.
• Defeat the final Trial Boss and World Bosses.
• Complete any Incursion event, such as Dolmen, Geysers, Dragons and more.
• Rewards for some Worthy mails.
• Tales of Tribute Reward Bags.

The first event box you get in a day will be of Gold Glorious Quality, and any subsequent boxes completed each day will be of Purple-Quality.

There is a guaranteed fragment for Jubilee Steed in Glorious boxes. You need a total of 25 fragments to collect this mount.

You won’t be able to get the required number of fragments during the event, but you can continue to collect them next year or purchase missing fragments in Impresario Store for 3 Event Tickets each.

Besides, you can get some unique results at this event.

For Fishing, you can get Unique Sword Style Page. Any Dolmen reward chest has a chance to contain Style Page of Staff of Worms Replica.

Unfortunately, I could not find this and the subsequent Style Page on PTS. They haven’t dropped yet. But I want to show you some events that will give you a special Style Page during the event.

All Geysers in Summerset may drop Style Page for Staff. Additionally, all World Bosses in Vvardenfell may drop one of two Style Pages.

Recently, I received a question about how to get this Sacred Watcher Hood. So in this guide, I will show you how to get the quest and how to prepare for it so that you can complete it and get this Sacred Watcher Hood. Without further ado, let’s get started.

Prepare

The first thing you have to do is you have to have Necrom DLC and you go to Apocrypha. Once you open the map, you will see that there is a Public Dungeon called Underweave, and there will be a quest called Castoff Destinies. You want to head to the nearest Wayshrines and head towards the mission.

As you can see, I’m in Public Dungeon now, and I’m playing a new character. Because I had to create a new character quickly so I could get this quest again to show you guys how to do this.

Castoff Destinies

Once you arrive at Public Dungeon, you’ll talk to Ogle. And from the moment you see Castoff Destinies quest, you’ll actually enter the dungeon and help Ogle complete the quest.

When you enter the dungeon, you will see that there is a path that you must follow. You just follow these purple glyphics that randomly pop up on the road and keep going. Once you reach your final destination, these purple glyphics will pop up again. You need to wait for Ogle to finish speaking and then enter the portal.

Once you enter the gate, you will continue to follow this pathway. But you just keep following the purple glyphic and destroying enemies in your path. Once you reach the end, Ogle will be waiting for you there. He’ll talk to you, listen to what he says, and then just follow the instructions after you’re done talking to him.

You can read the conversation if you want. But I'm just skipping it so we can have more time to complete quests and farm ESO Gold.

Disable Nemesis Looms

Then you must disable three Nemesis Looms. You will see its location on the map. Once you reach the area, you’ll find that you will have to disarm this Nemesis Loom unless you want to disable it. This is the first one.

Then open your map and you’ll see where the second one is. It’s exactly the same as the previous one you want to disarm. Then the last one will also appear on your map, so you’ll have to hold down the aim button to see where Loom is. Once you get here and defeat all the mobs, you can successfully disable all Nemesis Looms.

Find Fate Glyphic

After you finish talking to NPC, you will open your map and you will see a “Find Fate Glyphic” prompt. You must first find a way to Fate Glyphic. You will then encounter a boss. And you need to defeat him to get the final glyphic.

Next, you need to talk to Thaddeus Cosma here, and he asks us to get the remains of Fate Glyphic. Then you’ll find that you have to get into the heart of Underweave.

In order to make a path to the center of Underweave, once you enter the room, you’ll need to turn left here, run up the stairs, and turn right here. You’ll see there’s a portal into the center of Underweave.

Then, you need to place Fate Glyphic you picked up on the altar and wait for him to complete the ritual. Once they’re done, they’ll ask you to stay in Underweave. But you have to go all the way, so you’ll have to fight numerous mobs along the way and make your way to the exit.

Fortunately, they are not powerful, and you have to find your way through them. Once you see the portal, you can talk to NPC. When you pass through the portal and finish talking to Ogle, he will reward you with achievements and a Sacred Watcher Hood.

With the recent increase in Champion Points cap, players are eager to upgrade to get higher Champion Points levels. As players’ demand for experience potions increases, Aetheric Cipher and Aetherial Dust also play a crucial role in character progress.

Witches Festival 2023 begins again! This event has XP boosts, event items, and ticket rewards, so let’s dive into all the details.

XP Boost

In previous years, the 100% XP boost was activated through the Witchmother’s Whistle collectible. However, now this is a passive buff everyone can activate all the time.

If you completed the campaign missions from previous years, you can find Whistle under Collection Tools. After you drink the water from Cauldron, it will summon a skeleton. But as mentioned before, this part no longer requires an experience boost.

Event Quest: Witchmother’s Bargain

But if this is your first time attending Witches Festival, you can collect Witchmother’s Whistle by completing the event mission “Witchmother’s Bargain.”

You can pick up this quest for free from Crown Store, or speak to Crow Caller, who can be found outside each Witchmother’s Breweries in Stonefalls, Auridon or Glenumbra.

The mission will require you to collect a few things: a Pumpkin, some Guts, and Essence of Death, which can be collected from any quest boss. This will give you Whistle, and once you have Whistle, you can take part in the event by collecting Plunder Skull.

To collect Plunder Skull, you need to defeat bosses throughout the game world. When they are defeated, you will collect Plunder Skull along with their usual loot. You can make a handsome ESO Gold profit by selling duplicate loot.

Plunder Skull Drops & Event Tickets

When you open Plunder Skull, you have a chance to get Alchemy Reagents, Event Themed Furniture, Event Themed Recipes, and Event Themed Treasure.

Plucking The Crow

There is also an additional daily event mission called Plucking The Crow. You can receive quests for a Witchmother inside any breweries or within each Impresario Tent. The goal of this mission is to collect 50 Cursed Feathers in order to open the portal and fight Crowborne Horror event boss. You can get Cursed Feathers by Plunder Skull or defeating Crow-like enemies.

After obtaining Feathers, you can return to Breweries and use Alchemy Table to craft Effigy, who will open a portal for the boss. By defeating Crowborne Horror boss alone or in a team, you’ll earn Crowborne Horror Dremora Plunder Skull, which has an infinitesimal chance of rewarding you with more unique items.

Witches Grab Bag Contents

Southern Elsweyr Dragon Hunt Daily Quests

For those interested in obtaining Dragon’s Blood, Dragon’s Bile, and other rare materials, traveling to Southern Elsweyr and completing Dragon Hunt Daily Quests may be your best option.

This area is home to dragons and is filled with loot. To make the most of your time, you can find dragon-hunting groups by typing LFDG in chat.

Keep an eye out for Dragon’s Blood and Dragon’s Bile while completing quests. They’re in high demand and you’ll earn a decent amount of ESO Gold just by selling them.

Deshaan

If Alik’r Desert Map gets too crowded, you might also consider heading to Deshaan for efficient Dolmens farming. This base game area is close to Dolmens and Public Dungeons, making it a viable option.

Deshaan is a base game area with Dolmens and World Bosses near Wayshrines. You can also increase your chances of dropping a Plunder Skull by completing World Events.

Public Dungeons

Public Dungeons are a great option for farming loot and Plunder Skull. Public Dungeons are great for collecting sets that can be sold or added to a Sticker Book.

I recommend starting with Forgotten Wastes of Vvardenfell and other Public Dungeons that provide valuable sets and loot. We chose Forgotten Wastes in Vvardenfell first, mainly because of the high experience and loot rewards it provides.

Delves

If you want an easier approach, you can focus on farming Delves dungeon. Find a Delves point in your favorite area, kill the boss repeatedly, and enjoy the rewards.

Farming Delves bosses is a low-stress way to collect loot and Plunder Skull. It’s definitely an ideal choice for those looking for a specific set or just want to complete their Sticker Book.

Finally, the location you choose to farm should be consistent with your Witches Festival goals. So, do you want XP, gold, loot, or a combination of these? Guilds and Glory Celebration Event will be ESO’s first event in 2024. In this guide, I’ll show you how to earn event rewards and Event Tickets. I’ll also be sharing what the reward boxes contain and what goodies are waiting for us in the event store.

Let me remind you that new items will appear in Impresario store. We will not be doing an introductory assignment for this event. It took all materials from PTS. This event focuses on Orsinium, Imperial City, Thieves Guild, and Dark Brotherhood DLCs.

You can see the prices for these DLCs in Crown Store, but Imperial City is free. 1 of these DLCs contains all 4 DLCs for the campaign. Maybe there will be discounts during the event.

How To Get Event Tickets?

Players can only get 2 Event Tickets per day after completing daily tasks. We have many options to get 2 Event Tickets. To do this, choose one of the following actions that you like best.

• Orsinium (Wrothgar): Complete Orsinium’s daily quest or World Boss quest.
• Hew’s Bane and Gold Coast: Complete daily quests or World Bosses in Hew’s Bane and Gold Coast.
• Imperial City: Complete Imperial City’s daily missions. To do this, you need to crawl to any area and complete the daily tasks within it.
• Maw of Lorkhaj Trial: Complete Maw of Lorkhaj’s weekly trial quest. Kill and loot Sweepers or Coldharbour Elite Guards in Imperial City area in the sewers.
• Dungeons: Kill and loot the ultimate boss of White-Gold Tower and Imperial City Prison.
• Maelstrom Arena: Kill and loot the last boss of Maelstrom Arena.

Boxes

This year we can get 3 Glorious boxes and a bunch of purple treasure chests. They divided boxes into 3 categories: Zone, Dungeon and Imperial City boxes. For each variant, the first box will be gold and the subsequent boxes will be purple.

Zone boxes can be found by completing daily quests in active areas, defeating dungeons and world bosses, public dungeon bosses, random enemies, treasure chests, safe boxes, resource nodes, Thieves Troves, and pick-pocketing NPCs.

Dungeon boxes come from Imperial City Prison, White-Gold Tower, and the ultimate bosses of Maelstrom Arena. The last boss of Veteran Dungeons and Arenas drops two boxes in its higher difficulties.

If you qualify as Glorious in one of these, you’ll get a Glorious box and a regular box. You can earn huge amounts of ESO Gold by trading these boxes with other players.

Imperial City boxes come from Imperial City daily missions, district sweepers, and Coldharbour Elite Guards from the sewers.

Box Contents

These boxes can contain the following items:

• Crafting materials
• Saleable treasures
• Style items for Guilds and Glory overland or dungeon area motifs
• The same situation with Set items and Motif chapters
• Imperial City key fragments and Tel Var stones (only from Imperial City boxes)
• Companion gear
• Furnishing recipes
• Treasure Maps or Survey Reports and Pages for the new Bristleback Hunter outfit style

Extra Loot

During this event, various bosses, resource nodes, and daily quests in any targeted DLC area will reward additional loot.

Impresario Store

Here is a list of areas where you can find Impresario. You can get all three fragments of the new Molag Bal pet here as well as the first of three fragments of Planemeld’s Master Face Art head markings and Planemeld’s Master Body Art body markings.

In addition, Impresario also provides bound pages about Bristleback Hunter armor style. Each page requires 5 Event Tickets.

Impresario’s Assistant

You can find him near any Impresario’s tent. He sells all fragments of House, Instructions for Pet and Hide Shoulders.

Indrik Vendor

Indrik Vendor also has some special items for sale during ESO’s Guilds and Glory Event, including:

• Dawnwood Berries for Dawnwood Indrik mount
• Feathers for Nascent Indrik mount
• Spectral Berries for Spectral Indrik mount

ESO Gates of Oblivion event is a celebration of Blackwood chapter and a larger event. Players will unlock many new rewards by earning Blackwood Pathfinder achievement.

During this event, you will earn Event Tickets by completing Deadlands and Blackwood content. You can then use these Event Tickets to earn special rewards.

In this guide, we’ll explain how the event works and show you how to earn rewards and Event Tickets. Also, we will show you what these reward boxes contain, what goodies are waiting for us in Manager Shop and other fun moments from the event. Okay, let’s get started.

How To Start Gates Of Oblivion Event?

While some events in ESO require you to complete introductory missions before you can fully access the rewards offered by the event. But that’s not the case at Gates of Oblivion event.

You just need to complete daily tasks in Deadlands or Blackwood, and you will automatically receive rewards.

However, you can complete the optional introductory quest by navigating to “Events” section of Crown Store and grabbing Burdensome Beasts quest. This quest will introduce you to Gates of Oblivion event.

Gates Of Oblivion Event Extra Rewards

When Gates of Oblivion event is active, all players will earn additional rewards in Deadlands and Blackwood zones in these ways:

• Defeat World Bosses and Delve Bosses to receive additional drops
• Additional rewards from resource nodes such as Ore Veins, Runestones and Plants
• Additional rewards for daily tasks
• Rockgrove boss bonus
• Defeat bosses in Dread Cellar, Red Petal Bastion, Black Drake Villa, or Cauldron to receive additional rewards

Event Tickets

You can also earn Event Tickets during ESO’s Gates of Oblivion event. By completing any of the following tasks, you can get two Event Tickets after reset every day:

• Complete daily quests or World Bosses in Blackwood
• Complete daily quests or World Bosses in Deadlands
• Complete Rockgrove’s weekly trials
• Kill and loot the ultimate boss of the event dungeon

Boxes

This year you can get 2 Glorious boxes and a bunch of purple boxes. They divide the boxes into two categories: zones and dungeons. For each variant, the first box is gold, and the subsequent boxes are purple. We can find zone boxes via:

• Kill random enemies
• Delves
• World and Public dungeon bosses
• Kill Oblivion portal bosses

We should note that the first Zone box obtained by killing World Bosses or Delve Bosses every day is Glorious box. Also, the first of the four dungeons’ final dungeon boss will provide a Glorious quality box. The ultimate boss of Veteran Dungeon drops two boxes.

If you can complete one of these tasks, you’ll get at least a Glorious and a regular box. Therefore, you can get two Glorious boxes per day, one from zone content and one from dungeon content. The other boxes will be purple.

These boxes can contain the following items:

• Crafting materials
• Saleable treasures
• Style items for Gates of Oblivion overland
• Companion gear
• Furnishing recipes
• Treasure Maps or Survey Reports
• Motif chapters for Gates of Oblivion overland
• Pages for the new Y’ffre’s Fallen-Wood Outfit Style

Impresario

Here is a map of the areas where you can find the Impresario. All 3 pet fragments will be available during the event, and two fragments of the mount will also be available. In addition, Impresario also provides Y’ffre’s Fallen-Wood Outfit Style Pages, with 5 Event Tickets per page.

You can find Impresario’s Assistant in any Impresario’s Tent. He sold three fragments for Mount, Instructions for Pet and Hide Shoulders.

Indrik Vendor

You can find Indrik Vendor near Belkarth in Craglorn. You can choose to use Event Tickets at Indrik Vendor to purchase various Indrik mounts and pets. During Gates of Oblivion, you can purchase the following items from Indrik Vendor:

• All feathers for Nascent Indrik mount
• All four berries required for Crimson Indrik mount
• All four berries required for Pure-Snow Indrik mount
• Frost-Light Indrik pet
• Rosethorn Indrik pet
