News Tag: WOTLK Classic Gold

Do you often have no time to play WOTLK Classic? Do you want to earn gold while AFK with just one spell? In this guide, I’ll show you a few ways to easily run your game in the background and generate gold while your character is away.
Enchanting
When players hear the profession Enchanting, the first thing that comes to mind is enchant for gear. But what I want to say is that this is an endgame profession, and the cost of learning skill 450 and selling all recipes is the highest among all professions.
The fact that it’s expensive immediately raises the question: is it possible to make money by making enchants for gear? You can certainly make money, but the profits aren’t as great as any new player might imagine.
Here you can see some of the best selling enchants and their benefits. If you take into account the actual cost of skill development to level 450, you’ll find that the profit per enchantment isn’t that great. But here I will show you how to earn tons of WOTLK Classic Gold using only Disenchant spell.
Disenchant Mail Item
We have several ways to do this. The first is to write to the global channel and use a certain amount of gold coins to purchase green items above level 74. This way, the emails you receive will have the COD payment method.
But sometimes there can be hidden flaws if you’re not careful. Players who send you items may send you items that are no higher than level 74 and ask for more than you asked for, so be careful with this approach.
By doing this, you can disenchant items, which become the 3 materials for enchanting, namely Infinite Dust, Lesser and Greater Cosmic Essence. Typically, each item is disenchanted into a different material, with weapons and shields mostly disenchanted into Cosmic Essence, and other items into Infinite Dust.
Also, these items can be disenchanted into Dream Shard or Small Dream Shard.
This is the first method, and a lot depends on how much material other players send you. Therefore, it can also happen that one day you receive 100 packages full of items in the mail, and the next day you receive nothing.
Disenchant Stoneguard Band
Another method, which I think is better and what I personally use, is to create the item in Jewelcrafting and disenchant it as a material. For this technique, you can use a character with Jewelcrafting and Enchanting, or two characters if you don’t have both professions on one character.
The first thing we need are materials to make disenchant items. So we are going to make Stoneguard Band, which requires 2 Eternal Earths.
Buy Eternal Earth
In order to have the most accurate results for this test, we will make 500 rings that we will disenchant. I will also show what materials the disenchant ring is made of and what the total profit is in the end.
When you buy certain materials from the auction house, it’s not available in unlimited quantities like when you buy from a supplier, so it can sometimes take a while.
We already have Eternal Earth. Now it’s time to make the ring. But before that, if you’re like me and don’t have both professions in the same character, you need to send crafting materials to other characters. The total time to make 500 pieces is nearly 2 hours.
Making Rings
The best way to make this ring is to start making it, come back after 15 minutes, send the ring and repeat the process. You don’t have to play the game, just check it every 10 to 15 minutes.
This way of farming gold is good for players who don’t have much time to play games but are always in front of the computer.
Disenchanting Ring
After we finished making all the rings, it was a disenchant time.
Here we have a character whose guild bank is empty, which I actually found to be quite practical. Fill the bag with rings and then break them down, allowing us to turn the entire bag of rings into Infinite Dust and Cosmic Essence.
Then we just need to put them into the empty guild bank tag, remove the entire bag of rings and repeat the process. The minimum disenchant time for each item is 3 seconds in total, so it will take about half an hour in total.
Here we talk about a very important detail, that is Disenchant Macro. If we were doing something else and disenchanted the item in the background, it would speed up the process a lot for us.
Another important thing that will also speed up this process is to turn on Auto Looting so that disenchanted materials will automatically appear in your bag after each macro is cast. No need to loot them yourself, you can just spam the macro.
But I wouldn’t recommend this as your primary way of farming gold, as it makes you dependent on auction materials, which may or may not always be available at the price you want. The cheaper you buy materials, the higher your profits. And you must understand that none of the items you auction will sell immediately. Selling also takes time, so don’t put all your money on it.
Result
Ultimately, our ring was disenchanted into 2095 Infinite Dust, 163 Greater Cosmic Essence, and 13 Dream Shard.
And 13 of the 500 rings are disenchanted as Dream Shard, 106 of them are disenchanted as Greater Cosmic Essence, and 381 rings are disenchanted as Infinite Dust. The average disenchant is 5.5 Infinite Dust, while Greater Cosmic Essence averages 1.54.
All that’s left to do is put all those enchanting materials on the auction house and wait a few days, or even a week, until they’re all sold. Currently, I have sold half of the materials and earned 5k gold, which means I will have a total profit of about 10k gold coins.
Therefore, this AFK method of farming gold coins can indeed make very good profits. Regardless, I hope you learned something innovative with this guide to growing AFK gold. Good luck!

Are you still worried about the lack of gold to buy decent gear in WOTLK Classic? Do you want to make huge amounts of gold through the auction house? If this is what you need, then don’t miss this gold coin farming guide.
In fact, it is very simple to make money in the auction house, just buy low and sell high. Auction House gold flipping is one of the most demanding gold farming methods, but in a short period, with a lot of knowledge and a little more luck, you can earn a lot of WOTLK Classic Gold here.
In this guide, I’ll show you the basics of farming gold via Auction House along with some suggestions, and the rest is all up to you. Without further ado, let’s get started!
Prepare
Before we get started, let’s talk about the requirements for trying this method.
Prepare Initial Capital
First, you need some starting gold coins, at least 20k or more. While having less gold will still give you some profits, it will take longer to actually get some decent results.
What’s more, the flipping of a bad item can have a very detrimental effect on your finances. The idea is that more money equals more flipped items equals more profit.
Auction House Addon
The second thing you must have is some kind of Auction House addon. This is a very simple addon with 2 tabs that you will use most, Buy tab for buying and Sell tab for selling items.
Get A Calculator
The third one is a calculator. I’m sure some players are very good at calculations and do it quickly, but a calculator will definitely guarantee you accurate and fast calculations when flipping items. Since every item you resell comes with an auction house discount, you only get back 95% of the listed price.
Understand The Market Price Of Flipped Items
The fourth and most important point is understanding of the market. Every item in the auction house has a certain average price, and an overpriced auction item may never sell.
This knowledge is hard to grasp for a number of reasons. Prices change every day, and something expensive today will be cheaper tomorrow and vice versa.
To get a better idea of the price of something, I recommend checking the auction house several times a day to see what a fair price is for the items you plan to flip. A week of scanning is enough time to get to know the market better and start dealing with auction houses.
How Does It Work?
Now everything I’m going to show you and tell you in the next few minutes is just an idea of how to earn WOTLK Classic Gold in the game. Repeating these steps does not guarantee a profit, so be careful and proceed carefully.
So how to make some profit? Auction house flipping can be divided into 3 parts: Sniping, Flipping and Resetting. Let’s talk about Sniping first.
Sniping
First, you need to scan the item and purchase the auction item at a lower price than usual. Regardless of the quantity, buying cheap items can definitely be profitable in the end.
Auction items are sniperable for two main reasons. Players just want to make money quickly and don’t care about profits. Or, someone has some low-ball auctions for a specific item, so some other player who doesn’t quite understand the market value might put a bunch of the same item on the market for cheap. What is the result? You get tons of stuff for a fraction of the cost.
Flipping
Flipping is similar to Sniping, but you buy a large amount of auction house inventory with the intention of reselling it on the auction house at a higher price. Therefore, we don’t recommend flipping items that make up a large portion of your total gold.
So basically you just need to focus on crafting materials like Frostweave Cloth, Ores, Dusts and more.
In addition, I would suggest that different classes can flip some unique items in a targeted manner. Because not every item flipped will sell at the ideal price or within the expected time frame.
Resetting
Last but not least is Resetting. After you purchase a specific item from all auctions and put it back at a higher price. Basically, you control the market for that item because you’re the only seller, so it might even cost twice the average price.
It is important to note that purchasing all items from the auction house requires a large amount of gold and is risky. But by selling only a third or half the amount, you can make a profit.
A very important part of this approach is to be patient when reselling in large quantities. It won’t be sold immediately.
Also, don’t invest all your gold in one item. Be creative, shop in different ways, try some new auctions. You never know, maybe you invent some patterns along how will make you very rich in a brief period. Timing is key!
Conclusion
Because of the high number of online players during the weekend, the auction house is packed with auction items and players. So doing Flipping and Resetting only on the weekends and Sniping from Monday to Friday might be very good in the long run. But it also depends on how many players are doing the same thing as you. Good luck!

In this guide, I’ll show you my latest route for farming gold in Karazhan in WOTLK Classic.
I made this guide because the developers recently made a hotfix that increased the number of dungeon lockouts from 5 to 10 per hour. This means that all gold farms, including Karazhan, can now be optimized for 6 minutes instead of 12 minutes.
This actually has some pretty big effects on farming locations like Karazhan, where the mob density is very high and close to the entrance. It also rekindled my love for tinkering with these old dungeon farms, trying to squeeze as much value out of them as possible.
Currently, while we have increased downtime, there really isn’t a lot of unique space for farming Karazhan.
I tried some crazier things with different areas and monsters, and ultimately settled for a very basic run that included the usual mobs. It doesn’t require a lot of concentration to complete. You can try out your own builds to earn more WOTLK Classic Gold on each run.
Start Run
The goal here is to kill as many adds as possible in 6 minutes. We’ll start with a large pole at Moroes Dining Hall. After passing through this Dining Hall area, we finally kill all the mobs on the stairs. But once you kill all the mobs in Moroes Dining Hall. You can then walk down the hall wearing Rocket Boots Xtreme and use your Consecration and Holy Wrath abilities.
As a pull tool, I also usually wear two Tier 9 Gear Sets to lower the cooldown of my clearing abilities.
When you’re dealing with these far-flung groups of mobs in the first kill phase here, you can pop your wings and try to find some high-health targets to heal with Seal of Light. Usually Phantom Valet is my first target. And then the other nameplates you can see here are other targets.
We should note that there will be a Skeletal Waiter here on the pole. Here, you need to kill him first. Because if he debuffs you, then you become Skeletal, which kills you almost immediately. Don’t forget to use a Seal of Light to get healed if you have it.
But I tend to use more DPS gear to increase my damage, so my avoidance here is very low. But if you find good treatment targets, this shouldn’t be a problem.
Tips
I always finish my run in about 4 minutes, so you definitely have some free time. If you’re poorly equipped, just remember that your major goal is to get out of here in 6 minutes total, and the next pull will be much less strenuous and easier.
We’re going to pull the mobs into a loft area, and then two Skeletal Ushers enter the corridor leading to Opera House. Because Skeletal Usher will cast Frost Tomb at you, you should always use Frost Resistance Aura when you fight them.
I would never try to pull more than two at a time, as Frost Tomb will really stun you and can easily lead to your death. So it’s best to only engage two at a time and kill them as quickly as you can while you have them on the pole.
If you receive Curse of Past Burdens from Spectral Servant, use Blessing of Freedom to help yourself eliminate it. I created a quick and simple mechanism that makes a sound to alert me whenever a curse comes upon me. This way I can react quickly and get rid of this curse, reducing our healing output.
We also have some extra time to pull in some extra mobs before the end of the run. You can actually throw Grenades onto Balcony above to blow up some extra mobs. There are mobs patrolling Balcony back and forth, and you can maximize its damage if you wait until it reaches one of the stationary packs and then throw Grenades.
How To Maximize Benefits?
Currently, the settings at the bottom of the screen only show supplier prices. As one of the most frequently asked questions, how much raw gold did we collect after we completed the run?
I usually make a lot more money than what’s shown on the gold tracker here because I’m an Enchanter. So I dismantle a lot of Greens and Epics and sell the materials on Auction House. Next, we usually try to sell better itemized Greens as well. Especially with RDF included many times, you can find better buyers for these Greens.
So if you’re not just a mindless vendor robot. Well, I recommend you try to make better use of the items you pick up here, maximizing your profits by selling items that look good on Auction House or sending them to an Enchanter of this nature.
However, if you want to come in and kill as much of it as you can and loot it, then just walk out and sell it all to a vendor, you can definitely do that as well.
Now all you have to do is run out, reset, then come back and repeat the process over and over, as many times as possible. The great thing about farming new Karazhan is these lockouts, which reward you for advancing as fast as possible. Remember, there is a vendor out there who can empty your belongings when you need them!

They finally released Pit of Saron in WOTLK Classic Phase 4. This WOTLK Classic Pit of Saron Boss Guide covers all bosses in Normal and Heroic Mode. Here, we’ll provide information on each boss fight, including the best strategies you need to know to defeat them.
Most dungeon bosses in WOTLK Classic do not have uncommon abilities or mechanics in Heroic Mode compared to Normal Mode. It’s just that some Heroic dungeons may add new bosses that are not available in Normal Mode.
Forgemaster Garfrost
Forgemaster Garfrost is an ice-covered flesh giant whose job is to forge Saronite Ore weapons and armor for Scourge. He is one of two encounters you need to defeat before unlocking the passage to Scourgelord Tyrannus and Halls of Reflection.
Garfrost will be the first boss you encounter in Pit of Saron. Defeat him and you will receive “Doesn’t Go to Eleven” achievement and generous loot. These items will help you accumulate enough WOTLK Classic Gold in the early stages of Phase 4.
Next, let’s take a look at Forgemaster Garfrost’s main abilities.
First, his Permafrost deals 200 Frost damage to enemies within sight and applies a stacking debuff to enemies. This increases Frost damage taken by enemies by 10% for 3 seconds. The aura pulses every 2 seconds.
His Forge Frostborn Mace increases Frost damage by 100%. But only used when Garfrost’s health reaches 66% and 33%.
Meanwhile, he will throw a Saronite boulder at a random target location. This knocks any player within 6 yards away and inflicts 3,500 physical damage.
Also note that Chilling Wave will cause 1,850 Frost damage to enemies 65 yards in front of the caster. Deep Freeze reduces a random target’s movement speed by 50% and inflicts 4,000 Frost damage for 14 seconds after the spell ends.
Once you attack Forgemaster Garfrost or one skeleton, they will all join the fight. Everyone in the party will receive a stacking aura debuff, increasing Frost damage taken. You need to hide behind a boulder for 3 seconds after Garfrost throws it. This will reset the stack.
When Garfrost reaches 66% and 33% health, he will be busy forging to receive a weapon that increases his frost damage. This is your best chance to kill him.
Krick And Ick
Ick is a Plague Eruptor and Krick’s mount. Both will be your second boss’ encounter in Pit of Saron.
First, their Pustulant Flesh will deal 3,750-6,250 Nature damage to the target, and an additional 2,000 Nature damage every 5 seconds for 10 seconds.
Next, Toxic Waste will cause approximately 3,000 points of natural damage to enemies in a small area every 2 seconds for 10 seconds. Poison Nova will cause 12,000 points of Nature damage to enemies within 15 yards, and an additional 1,500 points of Nature damage every 3 seconds for 21 seconds.
His Pursuit Confusion reduces the player’s movement speed by 50% and increases damage by 50%. Also, Ick is immune to taunts during pursuit.
Finally, he will also use Explosive Barrage to summon many Exploding Orbs, causing 3,000 arcane damage to enemies within 6 yards.
You need to avoid the green puddles Ick creates on the ground in time, and don’t stand in front of the boss. Once Arcane Orb is summoned, keep moving and stay away from them. When Ick chases you, run until he drops you.
Scourgelord Tyrannus
Scourgelord Tyrannus is a Death Knight who rides the frost wyrm Rimefang. He is the final boss that players encounter in Pit of Saron.
First, he will knock back enemies with Forceful Smash, causing 28,275-31,725 points of physical damage. He will also brand his enemies with Overlord’s Brand, causing all damage dealt by the branded enemy to be mirrored to the caster’s primary target. And all healing done by the branded enemy will be amplified and mirrored on the caster.
He grants the caster dark power, increasing physical damage by 75% but reducing movement speed by 50% for 10 seconds.
Mark of Rimefang will mark the target of Rimefang’s attack, causing 4,813-6,187 Frost damage to enemies within 8 yards of the point of impact, and stunning them for 5 seconds.
Icy Blast will cause 4,813-6,187 Frost damage to enemies within 7 yards of the point of impact. It also reduces enemy movement speed by 75% and inflicts 2,313-2,687 Frost damage every 2 seconds.
Initially, Scourgelord Tyrannus would ride on Rimefang and give a brief speech. During this time, ranged DPS may attack him.
Rimefang will attack players from above, sometimes chasing targets designated by Tyrannus. Players should all spread out to minimize AOE damage.
When DPS is affected by Overlord’s Brand, he must stop dealing damage because the damage will be transferred to the tank. Healers should continue healing, although Tyrannus will benefit from these amplified treatments. After his buff wears off, the tank can recover and no longer risk taking high damage spikes.
Once you defeat Tyrannus, Rimefang will fly away and either Lady Jaina Proudmoore or Lady Sylvanas Windrunner will reappear and hand you over. They will then take you to the last new instance, Halls of Reflection. The entrance is at the end of the instance.
That’s a complete guide to Pit of Saron dungeon and all the bosses in it. Hopefully, this guide will help you win quickly in Pit of Saron. Good luck!

Welcome to the ultimate Phase 4 gear guide for Icecrown Citadel in WOTLK Classic. Because this iconic raid is the focus of Phase 4, knowing how to get the best BiS gear efficiently is crucial.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to equip your character, get legendary level sets, and maximize your power. You need to be fully prepared to overcome the challenges that await in Icecrown Citadel.
Prepare
Before Icecrown Citadel raid begins, we need to take advantage of early-release patches to get basic equipment from previous phases.
First, we can use the new Titan Rune Gamma dungeon, especially Heroic Plus versions, to get equipment. You can also queue up Random Dungeon Finder. It ignores locks, allowing you to farm gear, including Comet’s Trail and Death’s Choice Flask.
It’s worth noting these dungeons will also drop Primordial Saronite, which can be sold for large amounts of WOTLK Classic Gold early in the raid.
Wait until the raid begins and defeat the boss in Vault of Archavon to drop the corresponding Tier pieces. These Tier pieces come from 25-man difficulty, saving you valuable Emblems of Frost.
How To Get Tier Gear?
Emblems of Frost are the key to obtaining and upgrading level gear in Icecrown Citadel. Therefore, it is very important to get enough Emblems of Frost.
Because each level 10 pieces of equipment costs 95 Emblems of Frost. Therefore, in order to save Emblems, I recommend you give priority to getting Tier gear from Vault of Archavon.
Then we need to upgrade Tier gear. Unlike in the past when you could get the highest tier gear immediately, now you need to upgrade it gradually. Start at item level 251, then upgrade to 264, and finally to the optimal item level 277. We should note that upgrading requires turning in old equipment.
If you didn’t get any Tier gear from the Vault of Archavon, you’ll need at least 405 more Emblems of Frost to complete your level 10 set.
How To Get Marks To Upgrade Tier Gear?
Also, to upgrade your Tier gear, you need specific marks.
These tokens can be obtained from final wing bosses in 10-player Heroic Mode or 25-player Normal difficulty, such as Saurfang and Blood Queen Lana’thel.
In Heroic Mode, each boss will receive 2 264 item level marks and 1 277 item level marks. It will take you several weeks to collect enough marks to fully upgrade your level gear. So you need to plan your raid progress accordingly before then.
Emblems Of Frost
In addition to Tier gear, you can also use Emblems of Frost to purchase various items within Icecrown Citadel. Some of these items may be your best gear, so consider using your Emblems wisely.
Plus, here are some ways to help you maximize your weekly Emblems of Frost earnings:
- You can earn up to 35 Emblems of Frost each week by completing new Heroic daily quests.
- Complete weekly raids. You need to defeat the boss in Vault of Archavon on 10 and 25 player difficulties, which rewards you with 10 Emblems of Frost.
- Each boss in Icecrown Citadel drops 2 Emblems of Frost. There are 12 bosses in the raid, and you can get 24 Emblems each week from raid quest drops.
Raid Difficulty
Finally, you need to note that your raid difficulty will significantly affect the gear you receive.
For example, in a normal 10-man raid, you’ll get 251 item-level loot. Lich King drops 258 item-level equipment. In Heroic 10-man raid, Lich King will drop 271 item-level equipment. Normal bosses offer 264 item-level loot.
Armed with the knowledge of these gear strategies, you’ll be fully prepared for the epic battle of Icecrown Citadel. You need to gear efficiently, prioritize upgrades, and choose your raid difficulty wisely.
Whether your goal is a normal encounter or a Heroic encounter, this guide will help you tackle the challenges that await in the final stages of WOTLK Classic with aplomb. Anyway, I wish you success in Icecrown Citadel!

WOTLK Classic is about to reach its peak with the release of the much-anticipated final major content patch for WOTLK Classic on October 10th. The highlight of the release, however, is undoubtedly this Icecrown Citadel raid, which launches on October 12th, offering tough challenges and legendary encounters.
In this guide, we hope to provide you with insights into raid difficulty, mechanics, and tips for success. Designed to help you prepare like a pro for the challenges within Icecrown Citadel. Here is my five-step guide for starting an Icecrown Citadel raid as a pro player.
Stack Up
First, the first step to starting a raid like a pro is to stock up. One underrated thing that all pro players do is get gear on the first raid night.
You should already have all the relevant Enchanting Vellum and Epic Gems set up in your inventory. This way you can make new upgrades as soon as you get enough gear. But when you receive them on Rotface Heroic Mode, your key healer may replace the 258 ToC weapon with a 277 item level Trauma.
DPS checks in this raid are very strict. We’re in battles like Blood-Queen Lana’thel, where using sappers and bombs on CD can be the difference between success and failure. You can also use Scourgebane Infusion and Draught to make hit damage checks. This way, you can easily farm these rigs quietly at the best spawning spots.
Use Tools
The second step is to have the professional player’s Icecrown Citadel tool. What all the pros are using is Fojji, which guarantees that every timer on your mechanic is perfect.
If your guild has it, it will have a big impact on all aspects of the raid, but you’ll also have to pay a certain amount of budget for it. But if you’re a pro on a budget, Tems Pack also has most of these features, and you don’t have to pay extra WOTLK Classic Gold.
Gear Strategy
Next, professional players entering Phase 4 will have an equipment strategy. How you plan in the first 48 hours before ICC launch is a crucial first step. If you are missing any key items such as Flare of the Heavens. You have to spam Random Dungeon Finder as much as possible until you get Defiler’s Scourgestones you need.
If you are planning to buy any early BoE gear such as legs or boots. You will also need to farm 12 Defiler’s Scourgestones of Primordial Saronite. You’ll probably be putting in more than 10 to 15 hours a day since there’s no limit to the number of random dungeons on PTR.
You can also do Heroic daily quests that every pro does every day to earn two Emblems of Frost and three more Emblems.
You’ll also see dedicated raid groups just to complete the five Emblems of Frost raids each week. Don’t forget that a week after release, you’ll be seeing more Vault of Archavon raid groups. That’s because a 10-man raid in Vault of Archavon will drop 251 level items, and a 25-man raid will drop 264 item level gear.
Plan Your 10-Man Groups
Another thing pros have to do is plan their 10-man group. Their 10 man raid gear is too valuable for a successful 25 man raid.
That being said, there are plenty of pro players out there who waste 10-man raid gear between 25-player Heroic mode attempts to get 277 item level rings early. This will be a difference maker in future fights with extremely high DPS. Therefore, every pro player in the guild knows exactly how they prioritize gear.
Throughout this stage, getting Deathbringer’s Will to the right player early is key to getting Blood-Queen DPS. If you have baffling set bonuses like Retribution Paladins, you can prioritize that too. Just remember that you have to buy level 251 items with Emblems.
Review Your Raid Strategy
Regardless, the fifth and most important thing that pro players do with their guilds is plan a raid strategy. Even the top guilds have limited time to play. So we have to make the most of raid nights.
I highly recommend rating three nights during your first week. That’s because you can get more BoE gear on off nights.
On the first night, it makes sense to have a simple, non-DPS-checked Heroic mode fight. Then you should postpone battles like Putrid and Blood-Queen until the next night. This means you can get gear via 10-man raids, making DPS checks trivial. Then on night three, you’ll have more time to kill Heroic Lich King.
Killing Lich King will be impossible without these basic tips to maximize your DPS and your performance.
Icecrown Citadel raid in WOTLK Classic offers looters a thrilling and challenging experience. Mastering the mechanics and coordination of each encounter is crucial. Whether you’re a veteran or experiencing Icecrown Citadel for the first time, prepare for an epic journey filled with challenges. Good luck to your team in Frozen Heart Of Northrend.

With Icecrown Citadel coming soon, we need to talk about which healers are best suited for Icecrown Citadel. This will ensure your team can withstand as much damage as possible. So let’s get into the last Phase 4 healer tier list guide.
Difference Between ToC And ICC
During my guild battles, I noticed some big differences between Trial of the Crusader and ICC. These differences are enough to shift the balance between healers. Before we talk about tier lists, we need to talk about them.
The first big difference is that almost every ICC battle is between four and six minutes. It’s a long 10 battles with more people taking damage and needing to replenish their energy.
If you play a healer struggling with mana, Trial of the Crusader will be much worse than ICC in these long battles. There are many situations where you can make a slight mistake and end up dead.
Therefore, investing more WOTLK Classic Gold in utility spells like Innervate, Rebirth, and Mana Tide Totem is more important than healing. Overall, ToC feels much more difficult than ICC, and the raids feel closer to Mythic raiding on Retail than the run-of-the-mill battles of years past.
The second big difference is that your healing gear will suck going into ICC. Before, the recommended minimum item level for Icecrown Heroic bosses is 251. Most guilds will use gear between 240-250. So you end up having to treat more stuff over a longer period. Not only will your DPS be reduced, but your tank will also take more damage.
Meanwhile, this is truly the hardest raid in WOTLK Classic. Most guilds can’t even reach the goal in a few weeks, let alone kill Lich King to get new upgrades. This means we can only run the same ToC rig for the first month.
The third big change between ToC and ICC is that there is more action. Almost every battle has some kind of mechanic where you have to dodge a giant bouncing ball or run away from a ghost. This is undoubtedly more beneficial for specific healers like Discipline Priest and Holy Paladins than for classes that have to stand still.
Let’s get into the healer tier list. I will rank the healer from worst to best in B, A, and S tiers. You don’t have any C tier healers at this stage. At this stage, each healer has a role. It’s just that some healers share roles, or they play a larger role than others.
B Tier
Let’s start with B tier. We have Holy Priest, who has great survivability in Icecrown Citadel. You can immediately increase the healing rate by casting Prayer of Healing early and then casting Circle of Healing.
The Holy Priest is very good at using Val’anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings. Because we can constantly send instant cast spells, giving us many opportunities to trigger it.
However, most guilds would never consider giving it to Holy Priest instead of Holy Paladin, Resto Druid, or Resto Shaman. Since they’re better in almost every way, it’s better for your team if one of them has it first.
A Tier
For A tier, we have Resto Shaman. Resto Shaman provides completely insane team healing in fights like the one with Sindragosa, and they scale better.
Resto Shaman is an outstanding user of Val’anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings, thanks to our excellent healing effects. As discussed earlier, we heal tanks while also using our Chain Heal for team healing, which provides incredible value.
Many guilds will choose to prioritize Resto Shaman after Holy Paladins and Resto Druids. Because they have better single target and group healing. When you get it, your healing effects will be significantly improved!
Next, we have Resto Druids. Resto Druids flourished for the first time in ICC, and the overall AOE healing effect was greatly enhanced. He now has a 6% increased healing effect team-wide, making team healing much easier.
Most guilds would consider Resto Druids to be their second best candidates for Val’anyr, behind Holy Paladins. This is thanks to the incredible AOE healing effects of Resto Druids. What’s more, Resto Druids can maintain healing during some longer boss fights.
S Tier
For S tier, we will have to mention Discipline Priest. He has two immense advantages over all other healers in Phase 4. The first advantage is Lich King weapon, Val’anyr. Because Discipline is the only class without Val’anyr. This is a tremendous victory. You also get the highest stats in the game to date.
Plus, his shield scale and spell power are very good, and his ability to use Divine Hymn brings huge utility to the team. The only drawback to point out is that during long battles, your mana will take a hit. But it’s not a big problem.
Finally, Holy Paladins get even better in Phase 4 with new level 10 gear. Holy Paladins now have an eye-popping amount of healing, and it’s very common for them to max out.
With our incredible raw healing output, Holy Paladins are often the go-to candidate for a guild’s first Val’anyr. With Beacon of Light, we can continuously shield the main tank to reduce incoming damage and prevent sudden damage spikes or deaths. So if your guild is struggling with the occasional tank death issue, put Val’anyr in the hands of your Holy Paladins and watch your tank death issues disappear!
The above is my summary of the best healer tiers for Phase 4. Hopefully, this will help you bring a more suitable healer to your team. Good luck.

As the hottest new currency in WOTLK Classic Phase 4, Emblem of Frost fuels Inferno’s upgrades. You’ll need to get Emblem of Frost ASAP in Icecrown Citadel for important gear. This will be key to success against bosses in Heroic dungeons such as Lady Deathwhisper and Lich King.
But with the release of the new raid’s schedule, the amount of time you have to get those Emblems and actually bring us lucky gear will be significantly reduced. But don’t worry. Although Blizzard removed some features, they added others. Savvy players can still take advantage of these recent changes to maximize your gear as quickly as possible.
A quick recap before we talk about the changes. We can get Emblem of Frost from 10 and 25 player Icecrown Citadel raids, Vault of Archavon, and daily and weekly quests.
Once you’ve farmed enough Emblems, you can head to Vendor Horde and Silver Enclave at Sunreaver’s Sanctuary to purchase BiS 264 Items. For example, Purified Lunar Dust and Corroded Skeleton Key on top of Trinket.
How To Farm Emblem Of Frost?
So you might be wondering how we actually grow those Emblem of Frost. We can get Emblem of Frost from the 10 and 25 player Icecrown Citadel raid quest. You can also get them from Heroic Daily Quests, which work just like the previous stage’s Daily Quests.
Plus, you can get Emblems from Vault of Archavon, as well as new weekly raid quests. There will be raid missions every week, go out and kill specific raid bosses, and ICC specific missions to complete in raids each week. In total, at least 104 Emblems are available for farming each week. So take at least three weeks to complete your gear upgrades.
Emblems Changes
So let’s talk about the changes to Emblem of Frost in Phase 4, and how we can take advantage of them.
More Time To Farm Emblems
In fact, they did not add Heroic mode until just over two months into Phase 4. This means players have a few months to farm Emblem of Frost for items. You’ll need a full week to farm Lich King weapons at item level 217 before even taking on Lich King yourself.
So, from weekly missions to ICC raids, you have to be very careful with every Raid Lockout. Each ICC of 10 and 25 players gives a maximum of 25 Emblems of Frost. So you really can’t miss a lock in either mode.
Another key is completing both 10 and 25 player Vault of Archavon raids each week. Toravon Ice Watcher can drop item level 251 and 264 gear. This can save you up to two weeks of Emblem farming time.

Raid Missions Are Easier
The second big change is that weekly raid missions are easier than ever. It’s also one of the best sources for free Emblem of Frost.
Plus, Archmage Lan’dalock sends you to assassinate one of the 12 raid bosses each week. It’s worth it too, as you’ll get a generous amount of WOTLK Classic Gold and 5 Emblems of Frost. Many of these tasks will be trivial for at least the first few weeks.
Of course, we also can’t forget ICC weekly quest, which is one of five quests where Emblems can be farmed. This is usually something as simple as keeping a specific mob alive during a fight with Lady Deathwhisper. Your reward will be an extra 5 Emblems of Frost, and the chance to get more WOTLK Classic Gold and even BoE Epics.
Titan Rune Gamma Is Coming
The final and biggest Emblem change is that Titan Rune Gamma is coming. And the original Sarah Knight has also undergone a tremendous change in the original game.
They will obliterate daily quests in Phase 4, although Blizzard has just re-added them. This means you can continue to earn 2 Emblems of Frost and a Bounty Satchel with 3 bonus Emblems each day.
Also, we have a new vendor related to Titan Rune Gamma, similar to this Sidereal Essence vendor. At this new vendor, you’ll be able to get raw Primordial Saronite directly with the new Defiler’s Scourgestone. This means Primordial Saronite from Emblems will be much less profitable than before.
That’s all the changes for Emblems of Frost in WOTLK Classic Phase 4. Hope this guide helps you get off to a better start in Phase 4. Good luck.

As we all know, Lich King is the ultimate boss in Icecrown Citadel and the final major encounter in WOTLK Classic. Here, I will show you how to beat it as fast as possible. Without further ado, let’s get started!
Phase 1
Lich King is a multi-stage encounter with 15 minute Enrage timers. In the first phase, you will need 2 tanks, 4-6 healers and the rest of DPS.
First, we’re going to bring Arthas near the edge of the platform. Then DPS single target slams the boss and all the mobs for a lot of WOTLK Classic Gold. You can choose to use Bloodlust here, having a tank look for Shambling Horror near the raid.
Lich King will use Necrotic Plague on a random player and Wind Curse on the nearest unit. So let that player run next to Shambling Horror. As long as Shadow Horror stays away from the raid properly, then this Shockwave shouldn’t be too much trouble.
Additionally, Lich King’s buff continues to stack and deal damage every 15 seconds, and when the target dies, a second Shadow Horror spawns. And the first Shadow Horror is still active. When the first Shadow Horror dies from that debuff, it will transfer to the second.
These mobs have Shockwave and Enrage Hunters must use Tranquilizing Shot to dispel. These mobs might allow your team to get the boss stage up to level 70 before seeing the third Shadow Horror.
Once the second Shadow Horror dies and the debuff is transferred to the tank, it reduces the distance your tank is away from the team and permanently removes the debuff. Hence this Drudge Ghouls, any tank can handle them. But when Arthas use Infest Shields, they are killed by Passive Cleave Healers instantly.
At the end of the first stage of the raid, your main tank can use a powerful defense at the end, which is especially useful. Because Necrotic Plague gets a tier of Lich King’s increased damage, tanks will have trouble surviving Heroic dungeons above 20 tiers.

Phase 2
Next, Lich King will cast a Shadow Trap. Make sure you don’t stand in it when you only have 70 health. And Arthas will run to the center of the room, and its AOE will attack you in a super-wide range on the edge of the platform.
They will spawn three Raging Spirits at this stage. As a priority kill target, have your main tank choose the first target and your off tank the next two. These can make the target silence. So keep them out of the raid until the second Raging Spirits spawns. Any remaining Shadow Horror from the first phase dies.
A minute into the second phase, they don’t have more health left. Arthas has destroyed the edge of the platform, so make sure you run in there before they do. Arthas kept the Infest and gained the abilities of Soul Reaper, Defile, and Summon Valkyr.
When a new set of Valkyr spawns, the raid should be offset in the center of the room. That way, they need to cover at the furthest distance and move in the same direction. Best if you can kill all remaining Valkyrs when they’re close to 40 health, and push the boss to 40% health to get to the second phase.
This transition phase is the same as the first phase, but spawns 4 Raging Spirits. You can choose to use Bloodlust here to increase your casting speed to improve your chances of beating Raging Spirits.
Phase 3
You will enter the third stage. There are still 1-2 Raging Spirits alive now. As a priority, you need to get them together to kill.
During this phase, Arthas reserves Soul Reaper and Defile, and gains two new abilities. The first is Vile Spirits, which can create 10 Vile Spirits and attack us. When Vile Spirits spawn, you need to have the entire team move to the opposite side, releasing Frost Trap for Vile Spirits and the boss. Then place your off-tank in front of Vile Spirits to block the chance of their mobs exploding on the impact target.
Lich King will also use Harvest Soul on random players, transferring them into Frostmourne. This stage is a little different, and the team must move together to avoid bombs falling from the sky. You need to reach your team after 40 seconds and kill Vile Spirits along the way.
Lich King’s use of Fury of Frostmourne also marks the end of the battle. After a few minutes of RP, Lich King becomes attackable, killing it again will end the fight.
This concludes this Lich King guide. Hope it helps you to be successful in Icecrown Citadel as soon as possible!

For today’s guide, I want to cut to the chase: I’m earning 100,000 gold per month in WOTLK Classic, and I want to show you how to replicate it.
So far in WOTLK Classic, I’ve grown my gold portfolio from about 100k gold to 1.5 million gold. Since TSM Ledger only counts the value of the item, it is closer to 1.7 million gold coins. So I’ve earned 1.5 million coins in WOTLK Classic so far.
Right now, I’m making close to 100,000 gold a month, but the exact amount varies. And it’s down slightly as Phase 3 hype fades, but should rise again when Phase 4 comes out. So, let’s talk about how I make WOTLK Classic Gold.
Mining - Titansteel Bar
Titansteel Bar has been doing wonders for me in this expansion so far. I set up 5 characters in the first two weeks of WOTLK Classic, and since then, Titansteel Bar has been in production almost every day. Each Titansteel Bar brings me about 100 gold in profit. That means I’m earning 500 gold per day with these Titansteel crafts, which is about 15k gold per month.
But profits have dropped a lot. So I don’t think it’s actually worth investing in setting Mining characters right now. What’s more, we speculate that the cooldown for crafting Titansteel may be removed in Phase 4 or at the latest, Phase 5.
Alchemy - Epic Gem Transmutes
Epic Gem Transmutes is truly a hidden gold mine, and it’s a powerful goldmaking strategy. And it will get stronger the more Alchemists you have.
I recently completed my 10th transformation of Alchemists. Each Epic Gem Transmute brings me around 200 gold profit per day. Actual profits vary. Their prices tend to go up on Wednesdays as people raid and get new gear. And it’s likely to rise in Phase 4 when people get new gear from Icecrown Citadel again.
Plus, you can sometimes earn extra Epic Gems by becoming a Master of Transmutation. You can also increase your profits significantly by having your Jewelcrafter improve skills and cut gems into high demand gems.
Each Alchemist earns 200 gold profit from conversions per day. Multiply 200 gold by 30 days per Alchemist to get 6000 gold per month. Since I have 10 Alchemists, I get 60,000 gold per month. But this is only for logging in once a day, which takes about 20 seconds per role.
Right now, you probably don’t have 10 characters like me. But I talk about this to show my personal goldmaking strategy in WOTLK Classic, and to show you how powerful Alchemy is.
Best of all, your Alts don’t even need to be level 80! Once your Alts level reaches 65, you can level up your Alchemy skills and start earning profits. And it’s super cheap to set up too.
After setting up 10 Alchemists myself, it cost me an average of 2k gold to raise their skill from 1 to 450. Once I sell all my consumables, I usually get back about half of my gold. So it actually only cost me 1000 gold per character. Referring to the profit of 200 gold per day, it takes only 5 days to achieve breakeven.

Enchanting
Next, I want to talk about Enchanting. Many people have made thousands of gold from Enchanting from the very beginning. When Phase 3 came out, I finally worked up the courage to max out my Enchanting and spend some gold on Dream Shards.
I make just about anything profitable and throw it at the auction house. I made about 30,000 gold in the last month just from Enchanting, about 1,000 gold a day. Actually, my best advice here is to research what is profitable and use your logic to think about what sells well and why.
Over the past few months, I have transitioned from farming gold to trying to make more gold with less effort. That’s why my current goldmaking strategy is heavily based on Professions and profitable Crafts.
Personally, the only ones I really use are Mining, Alchemy, Jewelcrafting and Enchanting. But as highlighted in this guide, there are plenty of ways you can earn money with other Professions too. If you already have some gold, hopefully you can use what you have to make more gold.
That’s what I have prepared for you today. I hope it helps you. And I hope it helps you earn more gold in WOTLK Classic and puts the power of compound interest and passive gold making into perspective. Because Professions can be an extremely powerful goldmaking tools!
