For the beginners or the players who are interested in Torchlight infinite, it is important for them to have a quick guide on this game. So I would like  to talk about some thing you should pay attentions when you first time step into the game.

Recommend Classes:

The best classes is obviously a good start, there are five basic classes in Torchlight infinite, Berserker, Divineshot, Frostfire, Spacetime Witness, and Commander. The best friendly one must be Berserker and Frostfire, due to their core attributes are Strength and Intelligence. Strength could not only increase melee damage, but also the life. Intelligence raises Mana and energy shield for improving defence.

Thus I would like to recommend Berserker Rehan, who is an excellent DPS and using one-handed or two-handed weapons like Hammers and Axis. If you like to crush opponents at melee range, you should absolutely choose the berserk class.

Then I also recommend Frostfire, the good aspect about her skills is her capacity to balance frost and fire damage, which aim to the enemy's element resistance. So if you like to play as a mage controlling the battlefield via dealing massive damage, then Frostfire is the best choice for you.

Store Rare Items:

For the loot, one of a good habits is to save high valued items,you can use them for crafting items once you know the what gears you want.

Later, you can also trade different types of rare gear which are not necessarily to your class for the Torchlight: Infinite Flame Elementium with NPCs, you can find them next to the teleportation waypoints on most of maps.

Season Pass system:

Finally, the game's season guide has free and paid two different tiers,  the rewards are also diferent but personally I suggest that the free one is enough to experience the whole game. But if you want to unlock the new character or outfit, paid one is also worthy.

Improve Survivability:

When You at Netherrealm, you'll notice that even the mini bosses and enemies will able to chop you into pieces... so three different stats, Life, Energy Shield and Elemental resistances, you should at least pick two as defensive stats, and also highly recommend getting more armor or energy shield for all classes. Armor is useful when you face the physical damage, and Energy Shield is more useful since you can face any type of damages.

But in fact, you should also consider the class you're playing. Iike if you're a Berserker, you should invest in strength rather than increasing intelligence just for the Energy Shield.
