Top Katanas You Can Invest in Elden Ring

Katanas are the GOAT in Elden Ring, my favorite weapon type in the game as well, most of my builds including some Katana to some degree, I just like the feel of the katanas and the move sets. Today we're going to go through some katanas, and rank them from worst to best. I don't think any Katana on this list is inherently bad but there are some clearly better katanas than some of the other ones, so let's get into the first one which is the Dragonscale Blade.

Dragonscale Blade scales primarily with dexterity, with a little bit into strength as well. This weapon has the standard attack move set, it is a short Katana does not have any builds up like blood loss, Frost or any other good stuff, it does have a high attack rating which is a positive for the weapon as a whole.

However, the issue is it's weapon skill is not good, Ice Lightning does sound like it could be good, but as you get further into the game it's not as good as it seems.
This gives you a 130 lightning damage, just flat damage on the weapon and and it only lasts 20 seconds. You also do get 80 Frost buildup just from using this attack, so essentially what this means is that you have to activate this weapon skill every 20 seconds to get that flat lightning bonus as well as the frost build up, otherwise this weapon is pretty average.

Moving on to the Meteoric Ore Blade, this scale is primarily with strength and intelligence with gravitas skill, it has the highest attack rating of all of the katanas when you tally up its overall attack rally. It is also the shortest Katana, has the highest attack range, blood loss build up, but it's a little weird katana as well.

It does have the unique heavy attack does heaps of damage, and it's actually really strong as a heavy attack and it would be really valuable sometimes.
But I just feel like there's so many better options. Being the heaviest Katana also being the shortest Katana, it does have that blood loss build up and it does have a high attack rating. However, because there are even a better physical and Magic damage weapon on this list, so that's why it fits in that slot.

Next is the Serpentbone Blade, this is a strength scaling weapon, it is the second highest physical damage behind the Hand of Malenia. Its weapon will deal poison damage with these poison native build up, with the skill Double Slash will like have which is really cool.

The poison buildup on this will deal like additional poison damage, that will deal double the amount of damage and it also lasts only a little bit less time, really valuable weapon to use.
A weird thing about this weapon is that it uses regular Smithing Stones to upgrade rather than the Somber Smithing Stones, which is kind of strange because it is a unique weapon. I really love using this for my Poison Samurai build, and that idea came from since this weappon with the extra heavy poison damages .
Serpentbone Blade is a really solid weapon that you could definitely make some good builds withe this and there's lots of good valuable things going for. it especially that unique skills like the double slash, you could get that poison effect off on enemies really quickly, it is a great weapon to use.

That is all about the first part of these list above, if you want to know more about the Elden Ring and the Elden Ring Runes, MMOWTS.com would keep updating.
