Updating in New World Brings the Fresh Game Experience
Oct 27, 2022

It's only been a year since New World be released by Amazon Games, but Amazon has already tried to revamp for the beginners' game experiences. This updating is aimed at attracting more new players into Aeterunum, reducing the grind and setting the stage for future content.

Generally speaking, I think it has a great successful result in that updating. When you stepped on Aeternum, armed with a new character to explore, you can immediately feel it.

Main revamp content

NPC and Story:

On in this new updating, there are some memorable characters, such as Grace O'Malley and Knight-Regent Jin Jae. Meanwhile, even Isabella could set up the future content for the player.

I can also learn more about which places are good to farm iron, and the history of the people in New World's Aeternum. When the New World first launched last year, and I found myself more or less skipping some contents, because nothing ever forced me to actually stop grinding. Everything was simply a quest and that was endlessly being repeated.

Now, in Monarch's Bluff's revamped Prydwen settlement the story finally being told, feels fresh and essential if you want to learn more about the True Heir.

PVP:

The only thing missing right now is the content as players scrambled for Territory and PvP Glory. Hopefully, the future updating will create the good content in PVP, like add benefits for PvP players eager for exciting battle.

Grinding:

One of the major aspects about New World has been its grind. New World's grind was hard and boring due to the lack of PvE content in the game early on. Moreover, there were quests those felt like endlessly job, you have to do the same content again and again.

Now, at least in Monarch's Bluff brings an overhaul to the content, these quests don't feel tired any more. Sure, they haven't changed much in what you're doing and uncover clues and loot containers in the name of leveling up, but the structure around these quests is so different than at launch.
