If you meet a caster that is on same level, or lower to average skill level, you will kill it one hundred percent of time. The most important reason is they tremendously have to deal with enhancement shamans' Feral Spirit, which means that you will have two to three more extra damaging spells to use than your enemies when they against wolves.

There are some more tests with totems, totems make nightmare for casters because it's hard to cast any spells against Enhancement, even when they manage to cast it, you can redirect that spell to Grounding Totem, and make it worthless till next interrupt comes. Next to that totem there is a Tremor Totem removes all fear, charm and sleep effects on you and your wolves, which is pain for Priests and Warlocks.

All of those reasons explain why enhancement shaman is very hard to beat. However the point is not about how strong this spec is, but how simple it is. In conclusion, when you face an enemy, you can just summon your wolves, drop a set of totems, start hitting them with Maelstrom for instant heal or bonus damage, and your totems can absorb damage as well. That will be enough in most cases when you meet some random guy in the world.
